One of the reasons why we chose to homeschool We teach “shop” and my 15 yo daughter can use every machine in our garage now She cooks, sews clothes, trains horses, creates and shares things she’d never have time for if she went to govt school Shes already worked numerous jobs and has a nest egg invested as well as a strong healthy body from not sitting 8 hours a day

Most schools here NEVER cut shop, home economics, etc!!brSome cut agriculture classes, but have them back now brA problem now is that special education students are in shop, art, etc WITHOUT assistance so it’s not safe using sharp tools—so they are limited on what they can teach 😳🙄
