I taught civil engineering and architecture at a HS Academy I had my students for four years and within their lessons I made sure they knew enough Autocad and Revit so they could interview with either discipline if they wished 95 of my students went to a university to continue in one of the fields

In 1965, after my graduation from HS, I got turned down by the only college I applied to After returning from 4 years in the US Army (1965-1969 Vietnam) that same college took me in I quit after 6 months and never looked back I did landscaping, worked in a brokerage house and finally took a job selling cars I never thought I’d do it forever but here I am at 78, retired, unemployed, happy, married, no mental problems or addictions College is not for everyone and Mike Rowe has the right idea I wish I’d known sooner!
