 I'm definitely not a beginner guitarist just to get that out of the way I've often wondered so The question I have is Will my guitar "Tone" take on a different "Tone Sound" if I change from Nickel to Stainless Steel Frets I've often wanted to try it but never have

 GET RID OF THE TOP VOL POT FIT A 500KB POT FOR VOL AND ALSO 500KB FOR TONE BUT DO NOT USE FOR TONE(NO TONE CONTROL) USE AS BLEND POT FOR BRIDGE PICKUP AND NECK

 I don't know if $350 qualifies as a budget amp, but the Marshall DSL1C is a small (8" speaker) combo, 1 watt with a power reduction switch to drop it to 1 watt It has 2 ECC83 preamp tubes and an ECC82 power tube, an effects loop, a headphone out and a 1/8" aux input and a footswitch for changing from the clean channel to dirtier, screamier channel (I think that channel uses both preamp tubes, one driving the other)brI love it It sounds good at low volume, and I was a little surprised at how loud it can get with just 1 watt

 David,does it change the sound significantly,when you use headphones? Whats best to practice songs/or scales ,and how do you use chords ,learn as many as possible,or only when you use them in songs,jamming?

 I got rid of the top volume knob on my strat, 1 vol 1 tone, its a lot better
