I know this is late but my bike (2011 yamaha v star 650 classic) has to have quite a bit of throttle or it will stall (even my dad whose rode for years stalls it not giving enough throttle) any tips as to why?

given that i drive manual cars, have just gotten on a manual vespa and rode that away, i could probably ride motorbikes too considering i already do 90 of these things in the car with the feet and the vespa is literally the same controls except the gearshift (thats done by twisting the handlebars on a vespa), not that i want to though

Must admit I never take that long letting the clutch go, wont that result in more wear, plates are rubbing all that time, most of it is down to feel, difficult to explain, especially since ever bike is different, sport, cruiser, trial single cylinder 500ccI stalled endless times before getting the balance correct
