When shifting up, do you engage the clutch before rolling off the throttle, or vice versa? You stated the former process at 4:46, but the latter at 5:00 Also, when you shift up to 2nd gear (and 3rd, and 4th, an so on), do you need to release the clutch as slowly as you did when you put it into first? You looked like you were releasing it much more quickly when shifting into those higher gears

Hi This is the first simple video explaining it I'm taking lessons ready to sit my CBT but I was making mistakes with the shifting and couldn't quite understand why, the teacher explained it and I understood parts but I think in the enviroment I was over complicating things in my head which I do often There are a lot of stupidly long videos explaining it but I feel they were over complicating it and making it more confusing I'm not saying there aren't shorter videos out there that are good but this was honestly one of the better videos out of the lot
