you don't need to add power if you already going on 1st gear, you can release clutch and bike will ride on steady speed MT-07 on 1st gear w/o throttle goes around 8 mph, very good speed for slow manoeuvring drills and traffic

Great tutorial on learning the friction zone, Rea👍🏼brBonus tip: although learning the clutch on a level is great when first starting out, practicing on a slight, uphill incline (driveway,etc) is a good way to stay sharp, and develop a better feelbrJust roll up about ten feet, pull in the clutch and let gravity roll the bike back Repeat This is especially useful if you ride offroad

Here’s a splanatiion of the kickstand switch:brThe kickstand switch cuts E power to the engine with it downbrThis prevents the mc from dragging the kickstand with the kickstand down and the engine runningbrMy bikes, maybe not all, will allow you to start the bike in N with the kickstand down, but not if it’s in gear
