$1300 isn’t an expensive amp anymore 2 of my tube amps are worth about $4000 each, which is a common price for many good tube amps now, and there are even more expensive ones out there (Wizard, Dumble etc) That’s not to say that $1300 isn’t a lot of money for some people, we all have different budgets and perceived cost is relative… but a $1300 amp isn’t expensive, objectively speaking It’s mid-level at most Comment from : @Trails_Ales_and_Sigma_Males |

To me, both amps sounded great in their own waybrbrThe cheap amp had a "purer" clean tone, but the tube amp had more "bite" in the picking attack (due to being overdriven), making it sound more "dynamic" Also, it had a "fatter" overall tone, because of subtle tube distortionbrbrUltimately, "great" tone is in the ears of the beholder 😂 Comment from : @dingalarm |
