Sorry, but I'd have bought her a good modeler, good set of monitors and some software, simply for the range of useable tones and volume that doesn't require an investment in pedals, unless you're a basement studio Dad with the band already happening ;) The tme investment with your kid is another thing

Just did a Jag kit build , and reached for a brand new 90° end wire (just easier to work with)brSo as i am turning things over to mount in the body All sorts of short noises , and so I am diong piont wiggle checks of my work , seems good ,,, snap , crackle , pop again as I go to mount the control plate I was frustrated I set it to the side for another calmer go at it Well I reached for the same wire to play one day , and realized that the New Wire was the problem 😂😂😂

Would it be possible to build this amp without the implementation of tubes? I dont know anything about amp building so that may seem like a dumb question but I always liked the sound of higher quality solid state amps

Great video However I noticed you plugged the tubes in with your bare hands Small amounts of oils from your skin are transferred to the surface Those oils heat up and can cause the bulb to break Use gloves next time! Btw, this little amp sounds grea!

Looks like a fun project The supplied tubes don't do the amp justice A TAD Redbase 6V6GT-STR and a ShuGuang 7025 (MilSpec 12ax7) would be a big improvement The WGS G8C is also a warmer and fuller sounding speaker than the Jensen That will make the biggest tonal difference The new tubes will fatten, smooth and enrich the overdrive character Please do a b4/after video if you make any of these changes
