Great video of how to spot a fake silver coins EBay has allowed fake coins to be sold on their website I even reported this to them and they still allowed the fakes to be sold so stay alert and aware so you won’t get scammed 😢

I bought two of these coins, deliberately, from a guy that was unlucky enough to have bought 10 at spot from someone out of state He was selling them as counterfeit for $15 each and I wanted to compare them to my genuine eagles While they are extremely good, my wife immediately noted that when you look at one side by side with a genuine (you can even see this difference in this video) it is instantly evident that all the narrow lines and details are visibly heavier on the fake I'm just guessing, but I bet the folks minting these created the coin dies using genuine coins So when they strike a counterfeit the coin is perfect But in plating it they add just enough material to make all those sharp and highly detailed features just a tiny bit too heavy You'd never see it without a genuine coin to compare them to unless you have a truly trained eye BTW, they fail completely in the ping test Still lots and lots of them out there

I bought a liquidation pallet from the postal service and got a box of fakes I about passed out at first when I opened them There were like 20 of them in a bag I noticed a lot of the packages I got were from the same address and undeliverable so that's why I ended up with them I think it was a front to scam people for big bucks for cheap china stuff and gone before people could figure it out
