I have 14k 275 grams & was recently check & wS real gold Bummed out it notbrBeing 375 grams with the bezel it came with is custom bezel with stones got it together & it weight 382 grams 14k

I just want one of these coins for my collection I think I will pay the extra money and buy it from a reputable dealer and try for a PCGS sealed one so the record will all be there to confirm its legitimacy

Ouch that hurts, faked gold was mostly 2 1/2 & $5 Indians that came out of Lebanon in the 60s & showed up here in the states in the 70s, 80s & 90s entire rolls of them, kicker was they were mostly 24K gold, but nada numismatic value, a good scale comes in handy, Sigma scale probably pick that up as well, but just looking closer helps as well, sorry, seems like everything is being faked

this is why i do not invest in gold too easily faked and if you get a bad one you’re SOL for a large amount sadly, you cannot buy insurance against fake coins i’m sure if large insurance companies started taking hit to their bottom lines, counterfeiters would be dramatically reduced

Exactly why I invested in a Sigma Pro Not only is it much cheaper than an XRF machine in thick gold plated items like this it actually gives a much more convincing reading That is fake not maybe plated
