Might I suggest to your viewers that a 6” dado is totally sufficient for this saw It requires less power from the saw and you should never need to cut deeper than what the 6 inch can do Plus, it’s definitely cheaper than an 8 inch I’ve been using my 6 inch data set for over two years now with no issues whatsoever Comment from : @GlennLecus |
It's $289 right now I need a new table saw Mine is 10 yrs old Comment from : @kidvicious2227 |

i've had mine for three years and it has been great Always use a thin kerf blade and get the Dewalt dado stack set if you had cut out all the Elvis crap it would be the same information and you would be taken more seriously (more subscribers more money) perhaps therapy is recommended Comment from : @debandmike3380 |

I had one of these for a while and it was a good little saw The one thing I really didn't like was how noisy it was Comment from : @RobertKeller-x4u |

Nice review, appreciated the quick pace! I’m up in Canada! We use this on a job site, interesting to see it can be used for much more complex cutting applications Comment from : @itmsolver |
I would have reservations on doing to much dado work or 2x cutting with this saw Had a dw745 that didn't last 2 siding jobs and the motor gave out Comment from : @dalerounds4036 |
Best to decide whether you want a DIY channel or a comedy channel I would advise DIY cos it's not remotely funny Comment from : @secobaairways4585 |
Lol, "i dont like that this 'dewalt' saw isnt a 'sawstop' saw"brbr🤦🏻♂️ Comment from : @poet99999 |

Hello Can i run a 10 inch table saw in an outlet in my garage?? I’m not a carpenter but i bought a table saw just to do some minor works at my home built a shoe cabinet for my son So i was wondering if i can using the garage outlet to run a dewalt 10 inch table saw??? It’s 15 Amp 120 volts saw don’t know if that info is helpful Also does a table saw use so much electricity and expect an expansive monthly bill? Please! Thank you Comment from : @Julio82able |
I have the saw and built a table for it, excellent saw 👍 Comment from : @randytidmore8021 |
This is a very informative video Comment from : @mrfordf3508 |
I skipped to the end so you don’t have tobrbrYes if you are limited on space and need portable sawbrbrNo if you can accommodate a bigger saw Comment from : @michaelmichaelmotorcycle2174 |
Very informative video with the exception that it didn't address some of the complaints in other reviews (loose or wobbly arbor, table less than dead flat, fence not parallel to the blade, motor mount that loosens, etc) Bottom line This video maked me want to buy this saw but other videos or reviews are staring me off Comment from : @emanuelfatseas2102 |
Hello from Greece Comment from : @BALANTIS23 |
So, with the right tune up and blades and other accessories, this saw would be good for fine woodworking? Comment from : @jimcohoon9434 |
Great review I’ve been looking this saw because of the same reasons limited space and I’ve seen a lot of videos saying the same things it’s a good saw thanks for sharing Comment from : @jimrosson6702 |
You can get cheap roller stands from harbor freight They work pretty well as an out feed table You can get three of them for about $60 total One in front, one in back, and one to the side you can rip any size sheet by yourself Comment from : @bobvilla2508 |
How much was the saw? Comment from : @mikes_in_paradise78 |
Awesome job! Very informative! Also, great job, Mr Mullet maker Comment from : @rosspeterson8013 |
For the money this is a great saw On my saw while the table isn't dead flat the couple of low spots roughly the size of your thumb nail are no more than the thickness of 2 sheets of notebook paper so I guess I lucked out 🤷♂️ Once I got everything dialed in it cuts pretty dang accurate, plus with it being able to fold & stow is a awesome feature While I may not use it everyday , when I do go to use it I'm only limited by my ability to do so An yes that Miter gauge is J-U-N-K , the first few times I ended up putting several layers of painters tape along the edge of the miter gauge to take up that awful side to side Slop I'm guessing they threw that thing in there to hold down the price of the saw Comment from : @paulrooster2108 |
Good review Thanks Comment from : @whitediver45 |
I loved your presentation!!! Honestly, thank you Comment from : @FiddlerOnTheRoof2024 |
I have had mine for about 6 years My only real gripe is that the top is not that flat Others saws of the same style only cut 24" wide The mitre saw is a POS indeed The rack-n-pinion drive for the fence is great Easy to make that small adjustments very easily Comment from : @andymok7945 |
I've been using rhe first gen for about 18 years now, great saw but the ripping capabilities are limited, I just upgraded to this model, I'm still getting use to I rip a lot of 4x8s alobe with no problems you only need a pair of adjustable saw horses and a sheet of plywood for your out feeeder and the rest it's easy Comment from : @Coxfame |
Great review my man! Comment from : @christophermartinez6045 |
Like you, my workspace is limited as I have to park a car in it I downloaded the folding outfeed table and plan on it being my first DYI project using the table saw Good video Thanks from Sedona AZ - Beginner Comment from : @genemccarthy2847 |
I don't know how you could afford your "special" on screen talent Comment from : @MrKen-wy5dk |
I bought and returned this saw three times, and it's because of one issue: I just can't get the fence square to the table It's easy enough to adjust the fence so it's square to the miter slot, but if I put a square up against the fence, the upper portion of the fence is closer to the blade than the lower portion is There is absolutely no way to adjust the fence for this issue, and it seems every model I buy has this problem It was a huge PITA I had to haul this massive, heavy box home, pull out all the materials, and start setting up the saw only to discover the fence is permanently messed up This required me to repack everything and take the heavy box back to the store What kills me is everyone states it's the best job site table saw out there Comment from : @joshuawood6644 |
None of your links are working for the plans Comment from : @Skulldiggers |
i have an issue with this saw that the blade/riving knife shake for a brief moment on startup Enough so that if i saw the saw with the blade up through a ZCI or crosscut sled that it causes tearout on the sides and has widened parts of my sled by 1/32 wider than the kerf Anyone notice this? Once the saw is up to speed it cuts perfectly The workaround of starting the saw and raising it while spinning seems cumbersome and not practical Comment from : @kamac1980 |
I dont buy anything from Dewalt Comment from : @colemahaney4208 |
I just bought this saw to upgrade from the dw745 I'm a contractor and this has all the power I need However not a fan of the included stand So I use the old one which was dewalts universal table saw stan it is more heavy duty in my opinion Great video thanks for the review Comment from : @darinwest3175 |
Thanks for the video Good sir, in the same situation, shop is the garage also looks like in pulling the trigger and I have my table designed for it already Comment from : @bluecamarodriver94 |
I have an earlier version of that saw and I love it It is my first saw I have made over a dozen jigs for it and they really help me with accuracy and safety The deciding factor that sent me to this saw is the R&P fence movement Very adjustable and very accurate Comment from : @riversider681 |
I know this guy named JR that sounds exactly like the mullet head Comment from : @VitalityMassage |
I liked the video other than the stupid mullet thing I will not subscribe because of that To bad this was the first video of your I saw Comment from : @121rescue |
Very useful review with great content and pertinent info! Loose you second identity, takes away from your knowledgeable demeanor Comment from : @aquilaz56 |
Been thinking about buy a new table saw This has been the done review by pointing out the adjustment screw locations Just wondering about the bed surface It looks like plastic rather than steel Comment from : @paulbridge3042 |
I liked your video I've watched quite a few and no one has shown the width capacity for cuts to the left of the blade I have a particular cut that I regularly make requiring me to cut on the left of the blade, thanks for the great video Comment from : @MadMax-tf4gc |
I've had this saw for about a year and learned some really useful adjustment info from your video Thank you! When you mentioned the sidekick I thought Oh no It wasn't bad though I wouldn't want that in all your videos, but don't listen to the naysayers You definitely looked like you had a good time with it and it's not like it was a huge distraction from your well edited video Comment from : @melissagraham6180 |
Hey great video! I like the mullet maker Can you tell me the dimensions of the saw folded up? I have very limited space I think I found some space underneath my stairs haha Comment from : @antoncooks1255 |
You must be Midwest USA That wig tells that brI’m disabled in GA New shop I need to turn wood table to hold tools to fold out to use (Save Space) 12x16 Shop Only have few tools so far But combination is welding, woodwork, Smart electronics, landscaping A side shed closed in to hold large landscape equipment (needs built)brbrI have to run electricity What state r u in? Comment from : @smartassist9700 |
So when you say "I figured out", what you really mean is that you finally took the time to read the instructions Comment from : @YESITSWILL |
What’s with the useless sidekick? Your video would be better without it Comment from : @michaelbarker8713 |
so cringe Comment from : @Orlosthedruid |
I've watched a ton of these setup and retrospective videos on this saw, and maybe I missed it but I have yet to see anyone mention about the depth of the saw shifting due to that bolt being loose, so I really appreciate that tip I would have never even though of it, and I'm sure it would have been slipping depth slowly without me noticing for a while Comment from : @drtacos |
Nice review, outfeed issues are real Comment from : @kylesullivan47 |
Great info thanks Comment from : @rasmussenmortuary8771 |
Mullet maker no! Comment from : @jetblackstar |
Do you think this could be carried back and forth to a storage unit by myself? Comment from : @imjusmoody180 |
how wonderful you are Moving around with photography in tribute, which makes pedestrians know the smallest details The view and moving the camera in every corner is a bit tiring, but it enhances the content Comment from : @falkaabi66 |
Great job on this one! I've owned the same saw for years, and I love it I even learned some new things from your video! Comment from : @MakeitGoode1 |
Really funny dude And great overview of the saw Clear and concise Comment from : @RLLWoodworks |
You hit the nail on the head with the pros and cons I have the same saw and would buy it again Best saw out there in my opinion that is mobile and a space saver I enjoyed mullet man as well 👍🏼 Comment from : @inspiringbuilds |
I have the same saw and made a modified version of your outfeed table design I routed miter clearance slots into the outfeed table so I can leave it up while using the cross cut sled Comment from : @curtisfort6893 |
I just bought this saw…and I just found this channel I subscribed…thinking this would be an informative, no BS resource Now I see the Mullet Guy brbrThis sort of silly shit adds nothing It’s a good way to lose subscribers Comment from : @MarcOppelt |
I personally will have to meet this Mullet Man, what a character Comment from : @lindamuszynski8828 |
I have had that saw for @ 5 years and really like it Bought it primarily because I needed to get both cars in the garage so folding it up was key If I didn’t have that requirement I would have bought the Delta saw for about the same price Comment from : @stevesiefken6432 |
