I already have a DEWALT leg stand for my mitre saw I wonder will this table saw fit it as well so I don’t have to buy two of them? Comment from : @gormanstein |

bro, that was a great review! Quick and with all the right information that interests us! Thank you for it I really needed that I am looking for a saw and was thinking about the Einhell but now I know I just need a better one 1 tip though: when you assign points for price (which is a great idea!) I think you should be assessing only the price You can't give Einhell 3 points for price when it's 3 times cheaper than all these lol At least in price Einhell deserved a 5 I think Let the points in the other categories speak for themselves With that said, your review was amazingly helpful for choosing a saw especially with the extra comparison of the top 2 at the end Thank you!!! Jack I would like to suggest that you use the plastic push and make redwood push sticks instead, as the plastic push sticks tend to shatter if it hits a running saw blade much safer I been in the carpentry trade for over 40 yrs and yes I still got all of my fingers Comment from : @iananderson4159 |
Excellent down to earth review You’ll probably get a phone call from my Mrs 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️because I’ve just ordered the saw and a stand 😂😂😂👍 Comment from : @Wellin220365 |

After losing part of a finger and a couple of surgeries I would highly recommend keeping the guards on when possible 12 hours in the ER and the hospital bills taught me a lesson Thankfully they mostly restored my finger Be careful out there Comment from : @Tim9460-o9t |

Do you have a video showing how to mount the saw on the stand? Comment from : @ic1022 |
I have just bought one, and your recommendation was spot-on, IMObrSet up was perfect I am a beginner woodworker, so I appreciated just being able to clip on the fence, taking a few measurements, and checking for squarebrThe cuts I have made so far are amazingly clean and effortless I haven’t been able to make long, thin cuts before, so it's a game changer for my hobbies and interests brFFX often do promotions, and mine cost just under 400 quidbrAll the best brRichie Comment from : @richardblackmore527 |

Thank you much for this review I just finished practically rebuilding a rental house for someone but I am not a carpenter (machinist here) The project came out very well as I am a bit of a perfectionist and I earned almost enough money for my labor to pay for the tools I bought One of them was this exact table saw and it was a life saver when re-flooring the entire house with a laminate wood floor While I loved every minute I used this my only issue was (like you said) the miter gage is pretty much trash I am just happy that I didn't waste $299 on a bad saw Comment from : @paulmartin2348 |
On sale here in Az at Lowe’s for $299 on the regular Comment from : @stephenreynard5744 |

@sumeray builds what’s the main limitations of this saw compared to the 7491 10 inch version I’m looking at getting one of the two and the money isn’t the big obstacle I’m just a basic weekend woodworker and curious if the 7485 will be enough for me? Thanks Comment from : @tben28son |
Thank you Comment from : @Desertphile |
Seriously thinking of buying one of these but how good is it for hardwood like purpleheart etc? Comment from : @The_Joker_ |
Great video, I think the model is "DWE7485" and not "DWE4785" Thank you for the info Comment from : @xenofonvasiliadis |
3:50 Dude almost get impaled Comment from : @ericaf3036 |
Substantial number of bad reviews on this saw One of the most common complaints is that the table isn't flat Comment from : @jerseyjim9092 |
Nice review Jack Not in the market for a saw ATM Take care & stay safe Comment from : @dougdavidson175 |
That UK, price, frankly, is extortionate and does not reflect shipping costs The DWE7458 in Canada is cureently price at $379 or £227 without a stand while its 10" big brother is $749 or £448 with a stand Yikes! Comment from : @kennethpole2439 |
Just got my saw for £42500 Absolute bargain Comment from : @stuartgibson9755 |
I have the same trollied kit All works great Good deal Comment from : @davedaniels8211 |
I noticed the blade tilt scale goes up to 48 degrees but it doesn't seem to go past 45 Is that correct? Comment from : @AbitLippy |
Having a blade less than 10" is a deal killer Comment from : @keitha9788 |
Thanks dude I was on the sideline but after your video I’m in 🎉 Comment from : @benramos4783 |

DEFINITELY check to make sure everything is squared up properly before using for the first time!brI just got a new DeWalt Table Saw (DWE7491RS) and it came out of the box defective The blade and riving knife sat flush against one side of the throat plate Wasn't a problem with the throat plate, it was the entire motor mount which was slightly off Everyone I asked said it DEFINITELY shouldn't be like that DeWalt wanted me to drive 2 hours to the nearest "authorized service shop" brNo thanks DeWalt If I spend $700 on a brand new item, I'm not ALSO going to drive 4 hours to get it repaired before I can even use it REFUNDED AND REPLACED Comment from : @bconnerly |
looking forward to more tool reviews Comment from : @sirJ0rd4n |
That factory blade is trash and should be replaced first unless all you are doing is framing or building decks/sheds The miter gauge is also trash All in all, its a decent small contractor saw and that's about it The 10" version gives a lot more capability Comment from : @bmacaulay18 |
Nice review that would have convinced me to buy one had I not already done sobrbrBut I take issue with your dismissal of the mitre gauge: "It's OK" Seriously? I think it's an utter piece of junk that was binned very soon after setting up the saw You're spot on about the instructions!brbrThe DeWalt was a perfect buy for me, size-wise, but it was the fence mechanism that clinched it for me as my previous saw's fence was dreadful and unsquarable, if that's a word (I know it's not)brbrI had to adjust the fence slightly out of the box, but the blade alignment was so perfect that I couldn't detect any issues, even with a nicely mounted dial gauge I had to set up the 90 and 45 degree stops, which took a while, but once set up they've not movedbrbrI agree that it's noisy Also, the dust collection's not that great, even with a shop vac, but it's not too badbrbrThe only thing I would have liked is gear driven blade angle adjustment, but seeing as the vast majority of cuts I make are at 90 or 45 I can live without it Comment from : @markpapp8784 |
I had the 10" version The best thing about this saw is the fence adjustment The rear of the fence adjusts the same amount as the front keeping it parallel to the saw blade Many table saw fences skew out of alignment when you either adjust it, or clamp it down Comment from : @DJ-yj1vg |
Loved this vid, really informative, been floating the idea of buying one of these and I think it's confirmed now! Thanks! Comment from : @LangfordBeatz |
The skil 10" us worth it over the 85" dewalt imo Unless your getting the 7491 Comment from : @tangodown2721 |
I bought this saw last year around this time It is such a great table saw I recently upgraded to a sawstop cts which is pretty much the same saw with the finger saving technology Comment from : @TheRealGOTdurrrred |
Impressive and informative, cheers Jack 👍 Comment from : @stevebuckley-ou8co |
