It's the rifle not the optic I have the same rifle Comment from : @WinfredRedfearn |
i know what the problem is i have one but for 223 the parallax is garbage on those scopes at 100 yds you can move the crosshair over 1 foot on the target by moving your head Comment from : @July4-1776 |
That is the exact same reticule as mine A variation of this PA 1-6x24 SFP ACSS scope has a horseshoe surrounding the chevron In which the chevron appears considerably smaller under the horseshoe I zeroed AR 762x39 at 50yd hitting again very near zero at 150 (-30) Calculated MPBR (-75") at 235yd Box test run once wasn't remarkable I set it and forget it Wolf ammo works quite well Hornady SST saved for critical accuracy needsbrAgreed, 762x39 a 300yd caliber against the close in zombie uprising Were I wanting to reach out to stave the hoard off at a distance I'd reach for my AR15 with PA FFP ACSS HUD DMRbrI doubt the 300BO would show more effectiveness, if not less The same pill with significantly less propellant Comment from : @gooberminther3tik25 |
Buy the SIG romeo around 100 dollars no BS why spend 1000 dollars for someone's great something too much BS out there Comment from : @boodgiek8146 |
You lost me at "Made in Chyna" Comment from : @76MUTiger |
I like this optic Comment from : @bjdenil |
What scope mount do you recommend with the ACSS scope? Comment from : @ifc3893 |
What's the Durability? Can it take a beating like an RCO/ACOG? Comment from : @jedikiller117 |

Eric talking about expensive ammo at 220 a 1k box of ammo Fast forward to 2022 and its 420 a 1k box and thats cheap for 223 or 762x39mm Comment from : @terrybrown5402 |
why do you rest the magazine on the table? use a shorter mag! Comment from : @dalemaloney255 |
I know I'm late to the party but at 5:00 I'm pretty sure you were having issues at 200 because your hold should have been the same as your 50 hold - the tip of the chevron The hold for 250 was the one you were using here - the underside of the meeting arches of the chevron Therefore, your hold for 100 is going to be slightly higher than the tip of the chevron Comment from : @mattr1804 |
no, it don't make sense Comment from : @judgedredd3686 |
I think 308 would have preformed much better Comment from : @rubeclayton8233 |
High left 🧐 Comment from : @danielkaufman213 |

Idk but in general if you spend 300 dollars on something it better be somewhat good Prices are ridiculous as is Comment from : @FirstnameLastname-qc3xx |
Over 200 yds some of that maybe ammo? Comment from : @wwaytobe |
Just watched your (5 yr old) video on your 556 AR build using irons Interesting and informative!brbrDANG if the 762x39 round in this video, though, doesn't make that AR look downright anemic!! Comment from : @M--GT8223 |
THE TWEETY-BIRD HOPPING ON AND OFF THE 100 YARD TARGET WHILE HE'S SHOOTING AT 300 Comment from : @raxxtango |

Very nice folks I believe Dimitri said to z at 300 ,at the 300 mark, for confirmation of the bdc ????? Comment from : @farmerwayne1404 |
Considering a Vortex Razor Gen II 1-6 is about $1400-$2000 brand new it feels extremely hard to overlook this optic Is there anyone that happens to have one of these higher end optics that has any major gripes about this optic? Seems like it does the job just as good Comment from : @SmoocheeWallace |
This pencil barrel probably ot best for russian workhorse cartridge Comment from : @JohnSmith-nh9vr |
3yrs later Thank you for your input gentelmen Comment from : @jguerrero0311 |
I love youse guyz -- but please , you got more optic than accuracy potential in that rifle Comment from : @frankgrillo8094 |
I bet that 762x39 at 600 yards would still obliterate a watermelon or a gallon of water or a cranium if you could hit it Comment from : @Xrayblazer3595 |
So 762 x39 at 600 yards is as accurate within 5 feet hahaha Comment from : @JoeWayne84 |
UTG bug buster is a great budget scope as well Comment from : @engineco1494 |
Thanks for some realistic shooting Versus these asswipes posting videos driving tacks at 400 yards with a 1X red dot Comment from : @johnviera3884 |
Say “budget friendly" optics Comment from : @ivanwaupoose7757 |
An arrow pointing to the target you are aiming for would be very helpful Comment from : @Traumamonkey |
Jesus honestly you can have a 20 degree temp difference in between the two days that you zeroed and are currently shooting and your hold over points will be different even using same lot ammo sometimes I wonder how many of these reviewers are really adamant marksmen And also any scope reticle can be used to range an object if you know what your reticle MOA or mrad is and a general target height/width Comment from : @89StarquestTSi |
I was a fan of primary arms until my red dot and prism scope started fogging up The seals were shot after 2 years Sent my prism scope that has water between the lense and got it backed unfixed with them telling me it was normal Now I have a prism with a water blob that causes refraction and makes the scope have even less eye relief and has this double image on one side It really pissed me off and after that, I didnt even attempt to send my fogged up red dot backThey also insulted me in an email assuming they knew about how I had the optic mounted For those of us who dont have a you tube channel, we are basically shit out of luck Comment from : @LordLegato |
Cyclone Youtuber had this scope on his page You are wrong he did a box test and it returned back to zero Smh Comment from : @marvincoley3544 |
Cheap ammo brYeah maybe 2 years agobrNo such thing now and days Comment from : @Secondadmendment |
primary arms is a great company Comment from : @doc-t-8648 |
$220 for a 1000 rounds Man, I miss those days Comment from : @danielmullies7498 |
I’m more curious about this firearm I seen Tim had a video out and he has had nothing but trouble with it Comment from : @jasonrauert6381 |
Or the optic got problem or you got problem Comment from : @George-ly4ys |
haha Eric didnt like him making adjustments, dont blame him Comment from : @rangerdanger766 |
Trigger reset click is not the signal to slap the trigger Comment from : @GeorgiaShootersGroup |
50 and 200 yard zero guys! It’s shooting high at 200 because you are among high Comment from : @mvvish |
Test scopes with a more accurate platform/cartridge combo shouldn't blame the scope for the limitations of the platform; still gets a thumbs up you guys are great Comment from : @unrulian |
Gulf war syndrome Comment from : @doncappo1509 |
You boys are heatin that barrel up pretty good at the end there Comment from : @ScrapMetalBomb |
After the 13th round fired you should have hold bottom right of impact zone for more additional hits on target because the 310 Caliber pill has a thin 16" barrel that heats up fast shilfting point of impact Comment from : @atefbaka4007 |
Good video, My Opinion, at the max range for the Optics, Rifle and Ammo Like to see it at the 63 Claymore Comment from : @zed332l |
Super cheap ammo isn't known for its small standard deviation on velocity (or BC but that is a lesser concern) at 600 yards your velocity spread starts to hurt vertical spread Comment from : @atAPT |
Guys 38 minutes for a scope review? ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Comment from : @PEETY666 |
You shoot like shit why jerk the trigger immediately after it resets😔 I’m really surprised you could hit anything with those shitty fundamentals Comment from : @mattpeirce6417 |
This video just made me purchase this optic because of the amateur attempts at discrediting it Why the hell is your optic so high off the bore? Why would you be testing the optics “accuracy” using the shittiest accurate caliber known to man? Comment from : @johnwalker1848 |
Chad hits and Eric doesn’t notice Lol Comment from : @GatCat |
Immediate trigger pull after the reset Slow down Comment from : @RecoilRabid |
This test seems pretty hard to make any sense of Comment from : @clintchapman4319 |
Y'all must have been high on that day Comment from : @chrome505 |
Yeah my take is the scope may very well be much better than this shows Bottom of the barrel ammo and much further than even the best ammo in this caliber would be good for brIf I were looking to reach out to anything over 300yards, I certainly would not grab a ×39 armbrI do appreciate the vid as this is probably in the top of the price range I can afford for an optic right now It's also the caliber I'm looking to scope these days ( but I know if I wanna think about 300 to 5 or 600 yds I'm gonna go with 223 Or 308 ) Comment from : @erikvaldur3334 |
How can we trust a vid when you set it up for failure Bad ammo to test with? Thanks for the video to prove never shoot crap ammo out of your gun Comment from : @targettony1122 |
Tip Comment from : @Kevinj36541 |
You should be embarrassed by this "optic test" Comment from : @fishinfromscratch5484 |
I want to see the swfa 1-4x24 tested here Comment from : @sthompson9 |
please do this again same gun, more powerful optic, and hornady black it does have a higher fps with a better bullet should hit better and be stable for longer 600m m10x elite hornady black Comment from : @maddmac9473 |
ha, I run a $30 mildot sight😂 Comment from : @HeisenberryVR |
A test with an AK variant and crappy ammo? Seriously? Comment from : @stevenstritenberger1761 |
Iv8888, what rifle is that? Badass! Comment from : @snakeyes7711 |
Nice Comment from : @gundog7199 |
I want to see this scope on an SKS Comment from : @mybestlifeoutdoors7077 |
600 is a bit to far for the 300 BO but all other ranges were right on I wouldn't use for over 500 maybe even 400 so you can be sure your rounds are counting Thanks for the show man it was a noble attempt at 600 but it demonstrates the limitations of the round Comment from : @barrystarr22 |
I wouldnt expect cheap ammo to shoot wellnow were going for 600 yrds use match ammo when attempting to review any scope at any price range next thing is any scope with a ranging reticle should never be dialed in to compensate for impact changes, thats what the reticle is for Comment from : @LM-uz4pr |
You guys used wolf 762x39 at 600 yards and expected to hit Comment from : @willx2018 |
I think this optic would’ve had a better chance on an AR platform with decent ammo Maybe you can do a review on the FFP raptor and make those changes Comment from : @JohnWicksPencil14 |
For Black Friday I got a vortex strike Eagle 1-8 WITH the offset mount for $319 after shippingbrbrCould not pass that deal up at all Comment from : @koofdome |
Bullet is probably subsonic at that range Comment from : @donaldheine6243 |
What do you mean off by 40 minutes? Is it just slang or is that some actual kind of measurement? Comment from : @JensenAzotea |
Simple 762x39 isnt designed for long range, this review was fine Comment from : @henrycirrus4887 |
Testing an optic on that rifle is like testing racing tires on a VW Beetle Comment from : @SuperUncleRyan |
I wonder how the Canadian version of the M10x would work out to 600 Comment from : @chrisfangeat6651 |
I like the camera set ups here, you're able to watch the vapor trail of the bullet moving down range Comment from : @CVMN-kf2qc |
yea that ammo does not scream precision at all but it's more than likely what people will be running on a budget lol Comment from : @runNgun88 |
I just put a vortex 1-8 on my ar-10 Comment from : @carlosdanger4648 |
