Great video What helmet were you running in some of the firing sequences? Comment from : @davidblette7249 |
Thanks for the insights It’s a lot better than some YouTubers talking about how much they prefer one over another I own a LPVO and I keep taking it off my rifles in favor of a different setup because it is heavy and slow target acquisition at 1x I hear a lot of about how ACOG w/ red dot is the best due to redundancy plus magnified optics have the reticles etched on I just like the red dot w/ magnifier better because it is easy to setup and I can use backup iron sights without needing to rotate the rifle Comment from : @philipng6598 |
Excellent video I think I’m going with a Vortex AMG with and 45 degree irons sights Comment from : @gabe321 |
Thank you for this breakdown! I will be buying an ACOG for my 145" AR Comment from : @aronrodriguez3695 |
bshoots drone/b "ENEMY UAV DOWN" Comment from : @southerndetailing_sc |
If they could make a "tough" LVPO 1-5 that draws in light at around 15oz and has lum, in a 34mm tube, i guess that would be the no brainer for me ECLAN i guess is what im referring to really if they just made a updated verison i think i would buy that in a heartbeat Two prisms in one i think if they could make some fov changes and what not and try to lighten it what's there not to love really Comment from : @robreadinger5340 |
LPVOs are my favorite especially on a 16" rifle The guns I use the most and actually kill things with are my scoped hunting rifles An LPVO retains that familiarity for me Comment from : @dirtycommtroop |
y'all make a better shooter video than Hollywierd Comment from : @joeylawrence1389 |
Thoughts on aimpoint pro? Comment from : @javierr1588 |
your take on LPVO's is hilarious, I run a 1-8 Primary Arms PLX FFP Gen 1 I use it for 3 gun competition and have done optic carbine courses and have taken it to 1000m dialing it I have done brutality matches, hybrid carbine matches out to 600m I have beat it up and have thousands of rounds through it Still holds zero and I hit what I am shooting at any power That's been my experience with them Eotech I have seen fail from battery life more than any other red dot optic in competitions Comment from : @Geared_2_Go |
That looks like one of the most fun things you could do with your pants on Comment from : @coldsmoker9387 |
I am kind of not sure what he means by saying the Acog is for grunts because they don’t train all the time and he down plays what in his mind a grunt is He obviously doesn’t know that a grunt spends about 2 weeks a month at 34 hours non stop before deploying for a year So I guess I’m trying to understand how he says that but doesn’t get the same hours in and deployments in yet says that I am just giving a perspective and he is talking like he knows, while he clearly doesn’t Comment from : @Flashhideronly |
What is Luke using to patch the targets? Love to buy one! Should put one on the website Comment from : @zanebundy7914 |
Easy solution Have lots of guns with different optic choices Comment from : @richardjohnson4696 |
I’m just wondering why no company has made a less expensive Elcan Comment from : @PracticalTacticalFedeli |
REALLY helpful video man, thank you! I was already researching 1x6 scopes for an AR but your explanations of how they all work and the pros and cons has me thinking about learning more about ACOGs first Keep up the great content Comment from : @TheMcDannells |
You’re really forcing me to think about this practically This is great advice for the civilian Any use case for me as a fighting rifle would be defending my home, or god-forbid going mobile in a worst case scenario Outside my home I have 50-200m on my property 800m to the tree-line of the property across the road The acog/RD works great for my use because there’s no use in engaging those longer distances unless I have to And I don’t have to unless they get closer If I have to go mobile I’d be trying to stay hidden unless I want to die So the RD/magnifier setup is great for a mostly wooded area I can always keep an acog/RD set up in my pack that is zeroed for my rifle if I need to change gears And I have NV, so keeping that functionality with whatever setup I have is a huge consideration Thanks for speaking so much truth Being alone or with family is a much different situation than being with a team unit Comment from : @Jason-tz8xn |
Red dots are great especially a $1,000 one but train with your irons and get good with them I can hit a 8 inch plate with a colt carry handle iron at 500 yards Comment from : @williamsoto4211 |
Just buy more than one rifle Comment from : @Andrew-on5do |
So I’m a lefty what is the best magnifier? I purchased an lpvo thinking it’s the better option because all the magnifiers I have looked at are for right handed shooters Comment from : @duckloydduckett9877 |
LPVO is da whey Comment from : @OperatorB |
I'm jealous I never get to larp Comment from : @OperatorB |

What’s with 40 second intro? Comment from : @Rick-n5g |

Motherfucker just put himself above grunts… Comment from : @Pfizerchamp2020 |

Your use of the ACOG would make sense if your BDC is accurate to your rifle, but it's not, especially since it's a 16 inch barrel Most of the BDCs in ACOGs are trued to 145 inch or 20 inch barrels (barrel lengths of the M4 and M16, respectively) using M855 If you are truly using the ACOG on that 16 inch out to distance, either you didn't zero at 50 yards (maybe zeroed at 36 yards), or you aren't using the drops as listed in the ACOG This is a big reason why ACOGs are becoming outdated: if you don't buy a specific barrel length and use specific ammo, you are going to have to experiment to figure out your drops or if you need to do a different zero than a 50 yard zero, and if that's the case, you might as well just get an LPVO and figure out the drops in mils instead of having to figure out the true drops of the BDC Comment from : @Exl6243 |
I beg to differ from this dude Marines hit the 500 with irons all day long Comment from : @JoshMarine81-ze8jy |
Big difference from larping and actually enlisting Comment from : @JoshMarine81-ze8jy |

this was such a shitty video, could you please be more organized and to the point? its getting hard to pay attention Comment from : @davidjones-wy3ln |
LPVO with a side mounted dot at 40 degrees off your scope base like the Scalarworks Leap08 Comment from : @JamesReedy |
1:43, would hate to be that plywood Mega concussion Comment from : @m855greentip3 |
What about an lpvo with a side mount rmr or other red dot? Is that just redundant Seems like the it would solve some of the complaints of the lpvo by itself Comment from : @rightushook8700 |
Acog with fiber on top and no battery is the best Comment from : @jonathanfree1186 |
I wish I had the money for all this Comment from : @Ninjah013 |
Im guessing the larpy intros and cutscenes of shooting random objects and static targets works for some people, but regardless of how many people objectify this imagery, to me its just cringy Moving on Comment from : @jwhittmusic |
Can we get a primary arms glx 1x with a 3x magnifier review? Comment from : @CS-zo7wx |
2:57 main rifle? Which one? 😊 Comment from : @lemonajax |
i like my eotech 512 have 3 of them Comment from : @whysoserious13218 |

Based on that opening, When shtf happens, people are gonna be dropping like flies! Comment from : @LKaramazov |

Damn acog expensive Comment from : @tweakybuttons2647 |
I noticed a lot of people rely heavily on just optics But I hardly ever see irons I will always have fixed irons on my rifle because if that optic cracks, goes down, hell get lucky and take a round I still have irons to use once I rip that optic off Are irons not a good tool anymore or am I tripping? Comment from : @xEpicxkillz0 |
I went with an eotech and a g45 magnifier on unity riser mounts I had an lpvo and really hated the 1x, and hated the 6x I found myself doing exactly what you do, only going to 5x It seemed pointless for the weight Comment from : @hugeslacker |
Bro that into was sick I want to drive a 4Runner and wear skinny nah nevermind Comment from : @DaOzMan0608 |
Cringe Comment from : @marcdominguez597 |
Is your tracking problem with the LPVO‘s, as pronounced on Trijicon LVPO’s? Usually, if Trijicon made it, it’s about the best quality, most durable I was pondering selling one of my extra kidneys for a 1-8x Trijicon LVPOs😮 Comment from : @GunBigotHater |
Cinematic intro was ❤🔥 Comment from : @LoudlabsNYC |
Filmed in Mexico with Michael J Fox as the camera man Comment from : @sleepyj222 |
Best video on the internet on this subject Well done Comment from : @LukeHuchMusic |
Obviously Optics are mission/purpose Driven brProper tool for the Job brA 3-18X is probably a poor choice for a mk 18 as example Comment from : @DRay-or4tc |
I have bad eyes even with glasses I am concerned about identification, I need some sort of magnification What is the best options for Fastest target acquisition Considering eye relief, eye box and parallax Budget max roughly 250 Thank you in advance Comment from : @anthonysholars4782 |
Going to whisper out the big-boy name that was not invited to the secret optic party "ELCAN!!!!" I just picked up the new 1-4x 2024 model and the newest AUG coincidentally, the day it arrived at my weapons dealer Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹 😊 Comment from : @22leggedsasquatch |
I told my wife I was buying an M4, she said what’s that? I showed her and she said what do you need that for? She obviously has not been listening to me the last 5 years Comment from : @David-lq4tq |
What do you think of the vcog SCO? Comment from : @LibertyOrGTHO |
Love this channel So much critical info packed into the video He talks fast, which is a plus Thank you! Comment from : @rcrinsea |
Me who probably will only be using my rifle for home defense wanting a red dot looking at my 16” barrel and magpul stock after the brace rule got struck down… well crap maybe 10-14” was better Comment from : @GAJake |
Thats an expensive opening Comment from : @wessark884 |
From a veteran point of view any rifle shooter should be proficient with iron sightsthe most basic way to shoot a rifle and it’s good for back up when electro sights die or damaged LEARN IRON SIGHT SHOOTING!! Comment from : @Rhino106 |
Good to see you make a new video after the business decision to promote the Acog because it has the highest margins Comment from : @ahole5407 |
At 24:40 when he goes around that corner why does he not shoot the target straight ahead before he shoots the one off to the side I'm not a combat vet but just common sense tells me he'd get domed by the guy he shot second he was in clear view the whole time Comment from : @The_Mans_Salad |
Very well done video Very short and to-the-point summaries of said options Purpose should drive equipment But on occasion we do see people getting gear to be like "the cool kids"😎brI would argue that a good 1-4x LPVO also would have it's place (Tomahawk II w/ a 134ft FOV), as well as a 1x prism w/ magnifier (PA SLx/GLx) Again, great video Comment from : @candidob8683 |
I think an acog with a RmR is damn hard to beat for a battle rifle I know LPVO are all the rage right now But let’s not forget that befor the Acog we had basically LPVOs that we did not like and the acog was a god send The ACOG has a bullet proof track record which has to count for somthing Comment from : @jtcustomknives |
HAthe price gun thing to pasty shot holes is kinda brilliant Comment from : @rmp5s |
Can you please… If you have not already done one… Do a video showing the difference in zeroing a variable scope that is 1st focal plane vs zeroing a 2nd vocal plane variable zoom LPVO?? Comment from : @vincentmcglynn1823 |
Any experience using the kram spacer with acog? Comment from : @deadliftdad |
The issue is the intentions of you and them, perhaps the target is of the same mind set that you have brbrWithout uniforms and the knowledge of who is the man in those crosshairs of yours is, how do we Know? Enemigo or compadre? Comment from : @ellerybice3787 |
Not many people discuss the 2 x 20 acogs Comment from : @kirkwest6654 |
What Eotech is that ? Comment from : @jay2659 |
It seems like the best optic is full auto Comment from : @Josh-ly9mi |
Your dope doesn't change on a second focal plain scope Just zero on your highest magnification (most scopes) and you're good to go It looks like he would correct this because it's gona confuse a lot of people Comment from : @reddoornails5945 |
It's funny cuz T-Rex arms are short stubby and awkward😂 Comment from : @Exod365 |
What handrail is on the eotech ar? Comment from : @ToyodaJake |
Get your dream MPVO (spend 2-3k) add a 500-1k red dot, and put it on an LMT MARS Change barrels and calibers and use this optic on endless scopes Ur welcome Comment from : @T20-c8f |
I never understand the suppressor on the automatic weapons Pain to carry them, do you have them on a spare barrel? Harder to change barrels and you are shooting automatic it’ll be super hot and odds are they’ll find you regardless Comment from : @victorblack1092 |
When you said << I done things to the acog got me like 🤨 Comment from : @tolleymarie4585 |
Please fix your ACOG BDC PDF file on your website It says yards and should say meters Comment from : @bigfootdrums |
At 66 years of age with astigmatism, what in your opinion works best? Comment from : @tjf1531 |
The ACOG seems to be the best for me Comment from : @seanatkins8938 |
Git gud 🫡 Comment from : @David-ir7mj |
Actually they did tell us what to buy The eotech and a magnifier 😂 for the most optimal between the three 😏 Comment from : @leekirkland398 |
Eye shadow? You wearing some? Scope shadow Comment from : @beck4218 |
Honestly the LVPO makes the most sense if your eye sight is very near sighted Eotech doesn’t work for me, the Acog is blurry but barely works It looks better the more I go outside and look through it to help my vision Comment from : @awsomedude9111 |
Bro sounds like the dude off how to train your dragon ngl Comment from : @dakotaspears2990 |
I make the 13k like big s/o from germany I try to watch very Video 😊 Comment from : @KennsteNicht |
