I love these sorts of coins I can often get them at spot, even numismatic coins And for purely numismatic coins, I can get for for just a few Dollars over spot nine times out of ten

I don't think silver and gold becoming money again is impossible We just need good trends starting brIf someone would pay you in gold and silver modern currency, lets say 3 gold philharmonics a month, would the taxman take gold value or face value in tax?

I love old coinsI have a Georgian crown and a half franc from 1834 as well as a few Netherlands 10 cents coins which are really small (smaller than a 3d) some pre-decimal and US silver excluding most crowns and dollars as it works out cheaper than bullion (I have 10 maples) brMy next coin is going to be a 20 balboa from Panama but that will be in the new year

Never say never History repeats, it may not be soon, but I would bet they will indeed be used again For most of history we have used this type of money Infact Texas as well as other US States have made gold legal tender for all forms of payment You can debit your gold holdings from a card or withdraw the physical bullion as well

Swiss 5 franc pieces of silver came out a last time in 1969, because it was actually and intentionally underweight compared to smaller denominations The real fun with coins from Switzerland is that some still circulate unrecognizedly, albeit rarely I know people who could fine some in their daily transactions Greetings, nice video!

Collecting old world silver coins, make stacking silver much more fun, especially when your budget is struggling You can always collect one or two six pences, for as little as £3 at a car boot sale or a market, or sometimes on eBay Just takes a bit of schooling so you know what silver content your getting to is it visable to cost brI like the Swiss coins you had

Try reading some of the many WROL audio books on YouTube Silver and gold are often the only money that has any value Of course, that wont really ever happen BUT how many " real" currencies have become valueless in the last 100 years?

I love constitutional silver, a big part of my stack are old european silver coins In most cases they are the cheapest option to buy silver It's really hard to pick a favorite of the coins you showed us 7:13 the 1863 should be 80 silver and not 90, 8:07 the 5 Franc coin from 1969 was also 835 silver
