I have the Fender 68 Custom Vibro Champ and it is awesome I really like the reverb even though it's digital and the tremolo is really, really good Great little amp for home and studio use I've played the Vox AC10 and it's a great sounding amp too A stereo rig with the Vibro Champ and AC10 would be nice!

Fender champ for home use? Only volume knob, with no gain/master volume? It seems to loud unless you play it at low volumes, which, on the other hand would not drive the tubes adequately

I disagree Neither is "the best" or ideal for home use There are gems like marshall JTM1, JMP1 or JCM1 or ToneKing Gremlin those are one of the best amps for home use

Picked up a used AC10 todaycompared to my Blues Jryes, VERY deep low endand will get that bright Vox tone Still experimenting so far, so goodespecially cleans and with OD/Timmy pedals 10 inch speaker is no slouch

Another good trick with the AC10 / or AC15, is to add a Pathfinder 15R For stereo, but with slightly different variation of similar family of amp voicings At home, or for recording, the stereo effect is more satisfying with good quality stereo delay and reverb pedals And for small gigs, it gives the volume a boost, and better projection / cover of the room To be honest, I think the Pathfinder 15R sounds pretty much as good than the AC10C1, in it's own way And is much cheaper, lighter and more reliable
