 If  you’re planning on making these types of rings out of clad (Nickle/Copper) quarters, you should be aware of the health/lung hazards and take proper precautions to protect yourselfbr brThe fumes from annealing nickel are carcinogenic  I was making quarter rings and decided to stop after discovering this  After only a month or so of making quarter rings, I was seeing the signs of pneumonitis (inflammation of lung tissue)​ - yikes!br brHere is a good resource for most materials and the hazards the jeweler may expose themselves to while working with that metal: wwwganoksincom/borisat/nenam/metal_safetyhtm

 Tried stretching double sided "off center" coin rings yet? I am first experimenting with cheap CuNi coins before making any attempt with silver Will update as time at hand Cheers

 Re stretching cupronickel coinsJust tried and they split very sudden, without warning if not annealed enough cheers
