Question Using the Harbor Freight 9 piece punch & die set with a 1 ton arbor press from Harbor Freight So far have not gotten a single hoe centered Could it be shifting in the press or is this user error I've put a piece of paper towel under the coin to move it to center also to make sure it is tight Any suggestions? I tried to make a ring out of a jfk half dollar, I drilled a 1/2 inch hole, I hit it down my mandrel with a mallet, and it got to 22mm, spoilt a coin How big of a hole do I have to make in order to get a 19mm ring? Comment from : @TheLazysketcher |

An already punched coin makes an excellent template for marking the hole I just align the two coins and use a fine point sharpie to draw around the inside and its slightly smaller so I can see it in the punch Beautiful process and great work Comment from : @threecreationleather6596 |
