Is there something that could be done during the annealing that could protect the silver from oxidation? I once saw a guy working on a brass gear for a clock he was making, and he used some kind of paste when he heated that gear up Can’t remember specifically what it was or why he used it thought though Wondering if that had something to do with anti oxidation

If you wear the ring daily, how long does that antiqued finish last? Do you just need to clean it up periodically with the jewelry wipes or go through that whole process ever so often? at home we use bicarbonate on aluminum foil and place whatever silver and jewelry we want to clean and pour boiling water to cover a minute later its all clean and almost polished try it out and see what you think :)
