I mean I work at the VA, mainly for community care I really don't get an incentives for going above and beyond in my job I'm just level with my patients on their referrals so they can get scheduled in a timely matter Comment from : @djfmf

I was at the VA last week, and while waiting on an appointment; 4 VA employees came to the check-in window They were ranting on how "they were going to apply for the new VBA positions that need to be filled for Claims They were saying stuff like, "Yea, I'm going to get one of those GS-14 positions open, and all I have to do is approve/deny benefits claims!" They even had the answers to the test that they take to become a VBA claim person They said, "Oh, when you get to the question on TBI claims make sure you answer this way on the test! Only study no# 1, 2, because they are never going to ask you level 3/4 about veterans on TBI claims" brThese guys are just salivating over filling the PACT Act openings for increased Veterans claims as a result of that They said, "Yea, I can make better money $ handling claims than this position here in the Hospital etc etc"brI was sitting there thinking to myself, "Oh, so you're the kinds of guys who are going to fill these positions and do what? DENY CLAIMS! All you guys are here for is the GS-14 and above positions I can see now, how come the VBA is full of knuckle heads now for sure!! Comment from : @thethirdgeneration1738

They found a cancerous tumor in my left eye (from agent orange), did a radioactive plaque surgery, and killed both the tumor and my sight in it I got 30, which I'm thankful for To me, 30 for the total loss of vision in 1 eye seems low Your thoughts? Comment from : @miamivice1149

I've had my (documented) injury for over forty years, and been paying for my own care since receiving my honorable discharge at the end of my enlistment I didn't file until a few years ago because I was trained to never complain It's sad to think some VA vulture is sitting out there with his mouth watering trying to figure out how to take away the very little I get and not even considering all those years I paid out of my own pocket Comment from : @rrussell9731
