Didn't talk about stopping Don't be afraid of the front brakes! Front brakes are your friend! Also, when riding on the road, always look far ahead of you so you can anticipate any problems, especially when taking turns And finally, don't use your mirrors while riding, its a distraction I personally take it off my bike 🤙

Got into motorcycling from a friend Total noob and got sent this video and I watched it so many times before I had my first session today at driving school (I'm a visual learner and I like detailed explanations like these) After my instructor ran me through the basics, I managed to not kill or drop the bike at any point I was really nervous prior riding a motorcycle, but after doing 1 lap around the course, I was having a blast!! I also learned to ride a motorcycle on YouTube I'm familiar with the manual transmission from a car and it's pretty much the same concept so I thought I would be fine I recently purchased my first bike(R6) and rode it around my neighborhood at slow speeds and all was good I must have gone out 7 times with no problems 3 days after my initial ride I took it out and dropped the bike pretty bad I was at a red light and once the light turned green I let off the clutch and the bike did a full wheelie and the bike went flying I flew off and rolled a couple of times The bike would not turn on after I had to get it towed for $200 There was a car behind me and I didn't want to take off extremely slow so I gave it some gas Right side of the fairings, right peg, handle bar and timing chain cover all broke The bike is currently waiting for parts to get it back on the road but now I'm extremely stressed out about unintentionally popping a wheelie again Is it possible to unintentionally pop a wheelie again while the bike is already rolling? Also one thing I learned real fast as a new rider is you have to pushed the throttle back to zero when shifting fast or the bike will over rev
