Triumph probably needs to revise her (while tho critically acclaimed incredibly silky smooth,yet spirited power delivery) current engine to something that offers a lower center of gravity,probably in the way how Beemer had with their K-designation of the so-called "Flying Brick" engine,(ii) the front forks need to have a rake of anything greater than the current 239 degree,for improved off-road handlingCuz the current as heard from 1 or 2 of the testimonies,are true of what were sedThe bike with her considerably weighted block wic stood high & the rake,at that angle,is only optimized for better handling on asphalt twisties than for actual off-roadingThe floppy condition,actually comes from both,1 the abuv just mentioned & as well owing to the front tyre eating into loose sandy or uneven surfaces,constantly throwing the bike about to either side & that requires much close-attention from the rider,wic can be taxing if the trails are longHow about a wild idea of probably something of a 2-way rake angle mode type of an adjustable,but sturdy 'Head Tube' that caters for both "On & Off-road" riding conditions,a feature that can be set simply without complicated hassle to the rider & (iii) it's also true of the overly light throttle,wic will require some calibration at the comp's 'Launch Control' for lowering the high burst acceleration & better optimized for dirt riding,shud the rider choose to go off the beaten path Comment from : @beaggyboy |

Just traded my GS for a Tenere After a year and 10K miles on the GS--and $3500 USD in repairs and maintenance--I decided to go with the Tenere The camel that broke the proverbial camel's back was the oil light coming on just as I was crossing into Mexico on one of my trips The GS is refined and fun to ride, but BMW needs to concentrate more on engineering and quality Comment from : @saulrvillarreal |
