Fliers like that are the ammo In all of my 63 years, I have never had luck with Eley match I can shoot CCI Mini Mags better than Eley match Your rest is also awful For smaller forearmed guns, they shoot better off of bipods There is no side to side wobble when using bipods Plus the hand on top of the scope No good there either That rifle will do much better with the right ammo and a good shooter behind it

Great video, Josh Nice to see a review of some less expensive equipment I’ve had mine for over five years now and absolutely love it Have it sighted in at fifty yards and with Aguila super extra copper plated hollow points can shoot 4” groups, consistently Bolt action is smooth, trigger is good Love it!

Hello, I live in Southern California and purchased a ruger 22lr bolt action for my 12yo daughter It takes a standard 10/22 rotary mag (same as her magnumlight) it’s very hard for her to cycle the bolt Is this normal? Is there anything I can do? Thanks

I purchased one about 2 weeks ago and only went to my local range to sight in an inexpensive scope I picked up from there as well I have to say I love the rifle and enjoyed shooting it I hope to go to an outdoor range and push it a little further

I have the same rifle in 22wmr I tried multiple brands/weights of ammo, all cycled fine I found the CCI 40gran HP Varmit held the tightest groups, placing 15 rounds in a 15" group at 100yards

It's well made and accurate for the price, I've seen videos of guys doing things to improve accuracy on these rifles like installing timney triggers and taping the bidding blocks with aluminum duck tape to increase the contact surface for better bidding

I have a Savage FVSR 22 in a Boyds stock no alterations It shoots like a 300 dollar gun Best I ever did was with Federal HV Match at 100 yards I wasted plenty of Lapua, SK, RWS trying to shoot this thing accurately or lets say like a target rifle I would get those fliers sometimes completely into a different zip code and I don't understand why I will say one thing though it feeds and ejects better than a 1600 dollar Anschutz 64 I had especially the ejecting When I go plinking it's the one I take and don't care what I shoot in it

300 bucks? Absolutely 300 dollars is a weeks worth of groceries now So I’d say the Ruger is cheap But just a tad more and you could go with a sporter or even a stainless sporter Which will probably be my kids first rifle Nice channel man!

I had one of these - i sold it again lol - the best accuracy i could get out of it was with SK Match - maybe MOA at 50Y - its nice and lightweight and probably a good plinker for rabbits - the barrel will rust easy so needs to be inside and always lubed - the chamber and barrel are “loose” so you can put any 22 rounds through it - i also run a CZ22 - they have tight barrels and chambers and the accuracy is heaps better

Great video Four years ago, I brought the American in 22lr, and I am amazed how well it shoots at 100 yards with cheap bulk Federal 40 g ammo subsonic It's not as tight as my Tikka T1x or the CZ457, but WTH It is my go-to rifle I did replace the stock with Boyd's laminated rapid sale stock I just love it Thank you for sharing!
