@allanliversidge9827
Totally agree re 16" barrels Had one on a T1X Accurate, but felt it lacked balance
Comment from : @allanliversidge9827

@G19gen4
Would you go with a varmint CZ 457 over a B14R ?

@jeffgatien5815
You know you can take the bolt out of the ruger mag and take one round of spring pressure off right
Comment from : @jeffgatien5815

@1920hunter
If you use the CZ bolt shims and shim it to each ammo your accuracy will improve, Basically its perfect head space, Plus its easy to do and cheap
Comment from : @1920hunter

@rangerdanger766
U were talking about 40 gr WMR not being accurate, have u ever tried CCI Gamepoint? They shot very well in my Cz, about the same accuracy as the 30s
Comment from : @rangerdanger766

@AndrewSquires-c6z
We all want a bigger fatter barrel they need to stop making these with 16 to 18 inch barrels
Comment from : @AndrewSquires-c6z

@AndrewSquires-c6z
Begara has 700 footprints but very upgradable stock is very accurate brCz has almost zero issues shorter throw Very smooth brTika is very clunky not in the same class as the others
Comment from : @AndrewSquires-c6z

@satellitehunter7440
I really want the MTR but I want to shoot suppressed half the the time… is this something I would have threaded or is that blasphemy? If so what do you suggest? Thanks great channel

@scarbourgeoisie
I've owned multiple CZ457's, both in 165 and 20", a few CZ455's, and both Bergara B14R's (steel and carbon barrels), along with several RPR's (22LR & 17 HMR) I've also currently own a Sako Quad with multiple barrels, thus my Tikka experience After owning close to 20 rimfires, the one 22LR rifle I can recommend over and over without a shadow of a doubt is the CZ457 in the factory MDT stock in 165" Out of the box, you won't find a better 22LR for the money Action, ammo fussiness, extraction, magazines; they cannot be beat IMHO, CZ 165" barrel is way better than the 20"

@QualityMaximus
Hi Don, love your review of your collection What do you think of the Scope Chaps you have on your scopes? Do they stay in place? Saw you were straighten one during the video so I didn’t know if they are loose and rotate or slip easilybrbrHave you done a similar review of your collections with 10/22 type rifles that you have? It is very informative of what you started with, how you progressed and features from one to the next that were benefits or “failures” like the Oryx chassis with no m-lok slots so you had to “manufacture” side panels with m-lok to add external weights to balance the rifle This was so informative
Comment from : @QualityMaximus

@ChipCrum
I bought a tikka off a gent who couldn’t get it to eject It’s a piece of bent wire about the same diameter as a paper clip I rebent the wire greased and oiled the rifle and it’s quite accurate light brbrHere’s the deal For the money it’s fantastic You can get more out of other rifles but you will pay almost twice as much brbrI like building and augmenting 22 rifles and often sell off a nice piece when I’ve rung out of it what I want But I haven’t been able to part with the tikka on the value proposition alone brbrI have five mags and fortunately I haven’t experienced the trouble with them you have brbrGreat video Thanks!

@whittler3358
Ya sound more like a salesman for add ons! Great info , thanks

@sheldonfingerman7005
So, do I throw money at my 10;22 or just buy the Ruger PR?
Comment from : @sheldonfingerman7005

@garybalasa3158
Retired gunsmith of 45 years🇦🇺 , two things, firstly the Ruger PR suffers a lot of the same issues as Cristensen Arms, the comonality here is the magazine, secondly the TX1 is rare to have issues and I have worked on a heap of them, I have yet to see a magazine and or feeding or ejecting issue with them, the cycling you also got me on as that is one of their key attributes Interesting how rifles can and im sure do verie from country to country as they do from batch to batch Oh I own neither but do have 4 verients of the 457, I have the Vudoo 360 and can very much agree with your MDT analysis one being $10,000 AUD and the other $1850, there are many days that I shoot them side x side and struggle to see the group diffrences, but accuracy is only one aspect of the PRS game, starting to find that out after a switch from Clays to Rimfires 4 years ago Great channel good contentbrThanks
Comment from : @garybalasa3158

@nelsonm5032
Excellent video, Don very informative i would like to see the T1X go head to head with the Bergara BMR i have been thinking about getting one of them but can't decide which?
Comment from : @nelsonm5032

@Boalfero
I regret buying the CZ 457 Manners MTR as well, that 16” barrel is stupid, and they haven’t learned yet, they changed the stock and still a 16” barrel
Comment from : @Boalfero

@markbucher7609
Don, I have some thoughts and experiences with Tikka I bought a Tikka M55 Deluxe 308 in 1984 while stationed at Rhein-Main AB Germany This was prior to Tikka being bought by Sako, and both makers ultimately being bought by the Beretta group My Tikka shoots sub MOA at 100 yards It's far more accurate than I am I've examined the T3's and found them not up to my old M55 in terms of overall quality I wonder if the all the buyings of the Tikka company have degraded the quality of the gun? My next 22 purchase will be a CZ as a result Thanks for all the great videos!
Comment from : @markbucher7609

Comment from : @yaoyuanyang3651

@couespursuit7350
You can set the spring tension lighter in the Ruger mags None of my 9 magazines have the spring under the type of tension you describe
Comment from : @couespursuit7350

@dttrandom
As far as just accuracy from out of the box stock configuration, which did you find was better: the CZ457 Varmint MTR or the Bergara B14R?

How about a Dirty Dozen (12 riffle shootout/ranking) review
Comment from : @andyjohnson6855

@dauntlessendeavors1000
With the Ruger RPR, have you fired groups via hand-feeding so as not to damage the bullets? That would be an interesting experiment to prove your theory, one way or another
Comment from : @dauntlessendeavors1000

@nelhead4807
Have you tried a Bushnell match pro 6-24x ?
Comment from : @nelhead4807

@SEAKPhotog
"Buy 'em & try 'em" Yep, exactly It's part of the fun😁 Sorry you've got a wonky Tikka I've got both a Tikka T1x and Bergara b14r Like them both Both work flawlessly Both comparably accurate Tikka is in a Oryx chassis, Bergara is in its original stock If I absolutely had to pick one it's be the B14r - it just feels more like shooting a full-sized rifle, which appeals to me My stepson agrees - I usually end up with the Tikka when we go out to the range 🙄😉
Comment from : @SEAKPhotog
