i noticed that this person giving us this review on appliances is warring a Maytag hat , we bought a set of washer and dryer Made by Maytag back in 2006 they were front loaders but 2 years ago or so on the washer the motor finally gave out on the washer…but the dryer is still running strong and i clean it out once a year for lint accumulations here and there so 2 years ago we purchased a new top loader with the glass top door WOW looks very nice but we had so many issues they are made very “smart” but very weak it has a huge tank but just makes it worse because it goes into out of balance mode you would think big tank oh let’s put more dirty laundry but nope it’s a piece of junk i should have gone with a top loader so no i won’t ever buy a top loader ever again i feel Maytag got cheap i was going to purchase the set of Maytag washer and dryer but glad i didn’t ……no one makes things to last anymore i guess it is what it is and we have no choice the new washers and dryers look so strong and beautiful but they are all cheap junks doesn’t matter the brand name but oh well !!!

We have LG, Whirlpool and Frigidaire It took me forever to do the research, but we've been good except for when my youngest went wild with a hammer We got dents, but everything still works great I had very little money at the time too

I inherited my house It's65years old I have to replace the Wall oven It was changed from gas to electric in the mid 80's There's a wall on either side of the oven The microwave is above the oven The cook top is next to the oven A bit inconvenient as I'm left handed, another story Prolly going to wait till summer I miss cooking on my gas stove Too bad

All my Frigidaire appliances died Dishwasher and stove Called customer service and they said the problems I had - they knew about them and told me they make their appliances to be replaced not repaired- wth? They told me it would be better to just buy a new one(s)since they didn't have parts and it would be too expensive to repair Each appliance was just over the 1 year warranty So I bought good old Whirlpool- 10 years snd still working like a champ

I wouldn't never by coil electrictic str they are the most unsafeatove Induction is the safest If you were as knkowldgable as uyou claim you would be telling peopleto avoid the ope coulsrange theyare fire hazard waiting to happen even after you turn off uyour stove the coils remain hogt and can be fire hazard The top never gets hot excpet under the pan on induction but yuou must use special coper or cas iron pans but it never gets o hot enough that it is dangerous Nat gas stove the stove top gets hot at the burner but cools down faster

I have a Breville CombiWave that broke Opened it up and the control board was Midea branded I had never heard of that brand before and found out what you mentioned Bought the replacement board straight from Breville and it worked I did not like having to pay $200 for a part on a $500 microwave but I love it's features/interface

Appliances use to just work and last My last range lasted only 4 years I replaced the main board and temp probe and the oven still would not work properly With more and more brands being bought out by certain groups, getting harder to get a good reliable product

Inverter microwaves can be a big help for those who deal with things that are fussy about temperatures (like custards) Most microwave ovens just cycle between full power and off The inverter units can be throttled down to allow you to slowly approach a temperature If an area of a custard gets 15 - 20° too hot, the eggs will curdle like scrambled eggs It is better to use a reduced setting, like 50 when getting close to the desired temperature

I will be shortly buying a new oven so have been looking Knobs seem to have vanished and symbols are in The trouble here is I can't see them they're so tiny Older eyes may not be so good, but we still need an oven I also wonder why ovens are now filled with chrome runners, what was wrong with the built in runners I for one preferred them

I’ve had an LG convection oven for a few years now I love the self cleaning feature with their special purple coating inside the oven — it literally turns everything to ash and you just wipe it out— and it looks as new as the day I bought it Also seems pretty straightforward when it comes to repair I was leery about LG for appliances but idk my experience has been excellent so far

My parents had a basic electric stove and it fed 8 children never broke down never had a problem I want basic appliances I need a new electric stove because cannot get cream appliances anymore I do not want anything fancy and especially glass top In 20 years I have had 3 refrigerators not my doing just made like junk I now have an LG French doors, fingers crossed

What can you tell me about down draft stoves I have a center Island and in it I have a 22 year old Jen Air oven and cook top that will need replacing sometime in the near furnace They no longer make the cartridge slip in electric burners that I now have and I am not wanting a glass top and stove combination to replace my old Jen Air Are there other better brands out there in a down draft other than Jen Air?

We purchased all new Maytag appliances 95 years ago It’s an induction cooktop with a fancy oven!! The range is the bane of my existence!! #1 the “Aqua clean” oven is a joke No bueno!! 2 I have had to have the stovetop control board replaced 3 times! 2 Now I have to have the oven control board replaced!! I pay for an insurance through my gas company that covers such repairs Next time it fails…I’m going back to a GE without anything fancy on it!! My first one lasted for 25 years!!

I have a gas stove that is one year older than I am I am 72 years-old I have used this stove for 34 years My advice no electonics, no clocks, etc I could care less about convection ovens and air fryers Now state governments want to do away with gas stoves, because gas stoves pollute the environment I can live with this I just want a good, basic stove that I can cook on and bake with I have always had good use with GE products

I had a BlueStar rangetop installed in our previous house and it was AMAZING! I didn’t want to spend the extra money for a BlueStar in o9ur current home and bought a Kucht gas range insteadIt’s fine but can’t touch the BlueStar for performance I just had to replace the LP orifice and the igniter, which cost me $220 plus shipping from Kucht, The orifice was needed because of what I would say was a manufacturing error on the part of Kucht - soot would collect under the oven floor and the entire interior would get sooty So they now have a special “soot orifice” to address this issue They didn’t have any compunction about charging me $120 for a 1” long brass orifice even the stove was just barely out of warranty They also started the warranty countdown from the moment I placed my order, not from the date it was actually delivered to my home, and not the date it was installed If I had it to do over, I would go with Blue Star, which is the closest thing you can get to a professional range for the home I love, love, love the open burners Live and learn!
