brthe "noise" is grounding noise becase the cables are not balanced, in the Heaphones i put a (*) in mono brbecause you can record stereo if you connect it to a double split cable/adaptor, bras you can hear XLR cables transfer the signal better, my favorite is the LINE OUT 2 XLR/1 XLR because brsounds bold and very close to the sound of the amp but if you use stereo pedals you have to choose the last LINE OUT 2 XLR/2 XLRbrbr🔺 Audio Interface: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2: ▶ youtube/5Qx2aJLv-OMbr🔊 Guitar Amp: Fender GTX100: ▶ youtube/0kD53BA3XoMbrbr👉Amazon

Thanks for showing me it’s possible I ended up using straight-up mic chords on my Mustang GT 100’s outlines (L&R), plugging them into inputs 1 and 2 on my 18i20 Scarlett Match the gains for 1&2 on Focusrite Control 2, make a stereo track in Protools or whatever your using and BOOM! it’s all good Still some “noise”, but that’s just the amp A Boss EQ pedal or some computer cleanup (plugins) can clean that up if it bothers you, but I prefer to have the amp sound exactly like what I’m playing anyways Hope that helps someone, thanks for sharing and keep on rockin! On the FX Line section of the video, you mentioned you cannot use pedals with this method Are you able to connect pedals with the other methods? specifically, the line out 2 XLR / 2 XLR method Thanks, this was a great video Comment from : @kilboydonkeyman |
Would this be any different if you were using a DAW and studio monitors instead of an amplifier? Surely you would connect the monitors to the "Line Outputs" on the other side of the FocusritebrbrBut would the same limitations apply for the sound quality? My Focusrite only has 63mm instrument jack outputs, it doesn't have XLR outputs - just the one XLR mic input on the front sidebrbrThanks Comment from : @FeedThemCake |
Can this also work with the focusrite scarlett solo? Comment from : @milo4054 |
why use instrument if it is not directly from instrument , maybe you should try the line input instead of instrument input in audio interface, Comment from : @norbertchuan |
When you hook up to the "line out" outputs, does it disable the speaker, or does the signal still go thru the speaker too? Comment from : @MichiganSkip |
