My real answer would be the buffalo But taking your question to the impossible limitKey word in your question is "could" which would mean I was able to Ther Guinness book of records shows a one tonne Australian Kangaroo I'd buy that However, alas, my budget says the Buffalo Comment from : @5ivestring |
My favorite coin rn is probably lunar gold tiger series 3 It's by far the best tiger yet and may be rather valuable moving forward as they are already selling on ebay for 2750$ ish Comment from : @anotherdedchannel |

1 oz gold kruggerand Comment from : @bchuhay |
Canadian maple leaf no doubt Comment from : @EnriqueSilva-qi8co |
for investment purposes the 1oz Krugs are the best choice beacause they are cheaper Their selling spread including their buying premium is way less that an eagle or a buffalo and Krugs are still very popular in the US and around the world If you are aslking which one is more beautiful I'd say the buffalo or the maple leaf in my opinion Comment from : @afvro75 |

What is the rationale for 1/4 oz coins? In my understanding the 1oz has the lowest premiums? Comment from : @jankarlsson8341 |
Personally, i like the 1oz eagle But i have been giving thought to fractional for the same reasons you have listed here I'm always hesitant, due to premiums I figure if i can pay the premiums, i can just fork out a little more for the full oz, and save more in the long run Again, gold is a savings vehicle, not an investment vehicle Comment from : @matthewwelch849 |
You remind me of wolfman sachs Comment from : @Goldcryptoammo |

Hello, I'm from Germany I prefer to buy 1/2 Oz Krugerrands Because it's worldwide known, easy to get and to sell, nearly everybody knows it or has heard of it Also the gold copper alloy is not so sensitive Alternative would be the american eagle and the sovereigns Comment from : @burgnbg |
I like my gold - pure, not mixed with copper and silver 24k maple vs 22k eagles I buy maples Comment from : @valkry007 |
Jm bullion has scratched 1oz maple leafs if you want cheap coin Comment from : @notsure2024 |

If I was a Lcs I would say eagles More premium I buy recognizable 1ozt coins or bars with lowest premium at the time I believe in near future we will be buying whatever gold piece we can find Comment from : @Theoldman62 |
If you are a "rational buyer" you buy the most liquid and most robust (copper added) coin: eagles in america Most other countries I would go with krugerrand brIf you are an "emotional buyer": buy that you love Comment from : @hannor4516 |
I know your question concerns gold, but I will tell you my favourite coin that I will never part with: the 1 oz Platinum Maple Gorgeous hunk of metal! Order yourself one You will be amazed! Comment from : @micheleemcdaniel389 |
Wow! I proposed a survey on Discord yesterday about 1oz AGEs or Buffaloes and boom! On my YouTube feed this morning from two years agobrOne question remains Should I steer away from the one oz size for my kids and start putting 1/2s and 1/4s in their Pelican Boxes more and more?brCheers🥃 Comment from : @christophermccormick8670 |
1/4 maple leaf cause i live in Canada i being looking into investing in gold but i havent started yet Comment from : @retrogames8918 |
I love American buffalo I just like the design and it’s 24k gold Comment from : @jm98460 |
Roughly quarter oz Manufactured by the US mint You're forgetting $5 commemorative gold of which there are many different designs Most are much lower mintages, and most are sold much closer to spot than straight bullying coins Gold is gold! Comment from : @RAJ_on_coins |
Pre-1933 double Eagle that’s what I would buy for the most part, you can fine them close to spot, of course there are common dates I’ve never lost money on a double eagle I’ve lost money on other coins Comment from : @bigstyx |
8:12 8:12what should i buy in the uk How much in oz and why? Comment from : @jameslittle8629 |
I’m 2023 do you think eagles are still the best to stack due to premiums or would a maple leaf be better cost wise All things considered Comment from : @washingtonflores1005 |
American Buffalo Comment from : @daviddavey1727 |
Either 10th or 1/4 AGE They allow me to purchase on a monthly basis Comment from : @tyleigh4309 |
RCM and Perth make beautiful coins but the portrait ruins the aesthetic imo, type 2 Eagles are supreme Comment from : @adamzaneagle |
Brittania all day Best security features, backed by a country older than most, $100 pound denomination which is considerably higher than $50 Canadian dollars for the maple or $50 US for the Buffalo Cheapest to buy, thicker than an AGE End of comparison Number 2 is Buffalo in my humble opinion Comment from : @ATLFUNKCARTEL |
RCM all the way Comment from : @lockheedload |
I wasn't looking for investment, I was looking for beauty The buffalo gold hit the spot There isn't another iconic coin like it in my opinion Comment from : @stanbewick2685 |

I agree with you about the 1/4 ounce Eagle A perfect size coin to stack Comment from : @MarkMphonoman |
The Gold $50 Buffalo is my favorite gold coin It reminds me of the wild west, native Americans, and American Bison roaming the open plains of the untamed west A coin that puts the story of frontier America in your hand Comment from : @MarkMphonoman |
It would be my own custom design Comment from : @spiritakarabbit369 |
I think AGE's for fractional & gold buffaloes for 1oz will be the way I go I'd prefer to have fractional 24k but I'd have to go maples or Britannias for that Comment from : @commoguru |
Kookaburra 100 People say i should get eagles since I'm American and in USA, i say fuck that gold is gold, not like the coin shop is gonna turn it down cuz its not American made, and quality of kookaburra is top notch I have the silvers, but id love the gold Comment from : @jacksonbilly9979 |

The American gold Eagle, Many would disagree but the marriage of gold n copper is beautiful Plus the eagle is a little Bigger and heavier, not by much but when you see a little bit of that copper rising to the surface that's called character With a cluster of so many different colors The type 1 eagle gets my vote I'm probably the only one to say the 2nd pick would be the brittania proof, That coin is easy to scratch but if you get a gem, you have one gorgeous coin, and the 3rd would be the older gold maples with that brush back design, You want to talk about millions of colors under a 20 W bulb in a dark room, that coin just pops I gave you 1, 2 and 3, I had to go all the way! Comment from : @ColorOfMoney7 |

I'm stacking for very long term and something like a dollar collapse, so I'm not concerned with what a shop owner might want when things are slow But what am I going to buy for a full ounce of gold? Five months of food? If I had to choose one kind of gold coin, it would be something 1/4 oz, and I presently prefer Kangaroos Comment from : @PaleoMeat |
I like Maples because of price and 24k , in the USA all coin shops will take them Comment from : @sku32956 |
