the key thing here is - "don't mind owning the stock if it does get assigned" the current downtrend has dropped a fair bit for all tech stocks pretty sure a lot of money has been wiped out in the market so i would think of 2 add scenarios herebr1 on normal days - i would enter at 03 delta, and subsequent open trades to enter at around 016 delta (lower as you enter more open trades, max 2-3 open trades if you are doing cash secured, if not you have to think of how much you are willing to lose upfront)br2 when prices have started to weaken or show signs of weakening - do not enter open trades, monitor existing ones, hope that they expire and stay above your strike price brbri use RSI & Macd for checking on oversold or overboughtbrbrwhile we don't mind getting assigned, you might be "stuck" with the stock as prices continue to drop further - typically there will be several waves before the cycle changes so you might be waiting for a long while before recovering back to the price you entered, wasting opportunities in the market i rather consider a loss and move on
