Simple is good! brbrI see that the amp is not mic'd separately, so I was wondering: what is the mic that you are using when you record these videos? It is not the mic on the camera, is it? It captures your voice, the metronome, and your amp and everything so it is well-balanced and sounds good Very good at volume and level controls!brbrAnyway, I know it's not a "lesson" video as much as it is a demonstration video But the stuff that is played here demonstrates almost everything a guitarist goes through in their journey From becoming a new guitarist to the well-seasoned veteran, all in under 30 minutes All the ingredients are right here in this video; it is a testament to the wisdom of Guitar Wisdom

My practice am is an orange crush 20 I bought it 5 years ago but just got back into playing last year I'll check into this amp Sounds good Might buy one to leave at my dad's house for when I visit

I use a Ibanez Valbee tube ampbrIt’s basically a single 6L6 end tube with a 12AX7 as the first end stage Pre amp is done with a tubescreamer circuit, only this has full treble middle bass and presence pot’s It has a dummyload headphone jack after the 6L6 powerstage It also has a effects loop Dirty isn’t foot switchable but this wouldn’t be to difficult to build Its nice as a end stage for my pedal train, but the pre amp boosts the signal well!

Most newer amps use a shtty class-d chip and have 5-10 thd at rms power The tiny cone on this 10G make it a unuseable farty little ampSo? Go nostalgicget a Peavey Rage 15, (8lbs) Audition 20, or Backstage 20 (13lbs) with 8," or 10" cone, 4 ohms you have real BASS But with Mosfet power at 12 to 20 watts, and Ti, or JRC4558 preamp op amps they have superb tone , clean or dirty for your best little pedals Not a Peavey fan? The 90s Crates GX15,20M,30 GX models have dreamy chorus ,real reverb tank and a "shape, contour " Crushing overdrive thats Megadeth approved Just my 02c Thanks

Cheap amps have come so far in the last couple decades I used to spend several minutes per lesson just trying to dial in a decent clean tone on my students' digital amps that had several bizarre effects that were set to ON as the default

The Ibanez IBS 10G is a really nice budget practice amp, and this is a timely review during these tough economic times When people think of guitars, they think of Fender, Gibson, and PRS, but Ibanez definitely deserves to be among those famous brands 👍👍👍

i have a Vox Pathfinder 10 practice amp and for the money you can't beat it 80 bucks when I bought it a few years ago Over $100 new now but fantastic little amp!
