Can we Stop 🛑 saying 30 for Housing? Since 1940’s is the same rule and that is the most false impossible thing to get done For example here i Australia we pay a median of US;$500 a Week rent For a good med salary of USD55k a year its Impossible get a home for $350 a week that is price for Students bedroom! I started living frugally in my early 20s and it really helped me saved so much money In my early 30s, I was able to build my own business, I bought few properties and now putting my money on stocks ( it's doing great!) and high yield savings account for interest I cook my own food, I don't drink anymore (I used to drink a lot when I was younger)I dont shop anymore brI still work for now and I'm planning on retiring early so I can travel around the world

The problem with investing in 10 return a year is the inflation Or rather, if the inflation is higher or similar to the return-on-investment You need to account for that too Sure, your money might not "burn" the same way it would do under the blanket, but you wouldn't exactly multiply it either
