No matter what software you use, no matter what plugins you use, no mattter how powerful your computer is ,- the end resulting sound in a room or hall is always going to sound thin and lacking in comparison to a quality real amp and speaker Believe me I've tried them all - Sorry that's just the way it is

i use reaper with line6 and overloud th-u slate These are enough for me, reaper is really good in recording music and plugins make very realistic sound
