I have 12 Telespups are VERY important if you want a world-class tone MIM sound finebut a set of Fralin/Lollar/NoCaster will truly improve the tonality in a BIG way Even my HarleyBentons with boutique pups sound as good as any MIA Teleassuming you're playing thru a great amp Also, disconnect the tone pot from the neck pup to get even better tonemore output and clarity Comment from : @lazvt8469 |
proud owner of one of these they are crazy solid and great value I hear a lot of negative stuff about standard pickups but they sound OK to me Comment from : @hoisin75 |
You keep saying the Mexican made Teles aren't Telecasters Wrong Fender owns and operates both factories and they are literally an hour away from each other Fender opened a shop in MX to save on labor The products are equal and in some cases, like the Baja Tele, better And Johnny Cash never played a Tele Comment from : @Donnybrook10 |
What amp dd you use for the demo? Comment from : @RobSmith-rn3ie |

Bill Kirchen came up with the idea of swapping the controls for volume and tone, with the switch on the back endThis setup makes it easier to do volume swells that Kirchen has been known for throughout the yearsInvented this setup when he started using the Fender Telecaster Comment from : @coaltrain4423 |

I have a 2014 Fender Tele FSR just like yoursI bought it new in 2019 from Guitar CenterI had them set it up and put flat wound strings on it,10-46sI haven’t changed a thing on this guitar,it plecked out perfectly and stays in tune incrediblyI’ll never part with this one everI can’t say anything about this one that’s negative, but that’s just meYes,I do have some other great guitars that are high dollar, but why pay $2000 for a Tele when I have one that suits me fine for $600 Comment from : @coaltrain4423 |

I have a 1965 tele, left to me by my friend It was refinished in the early 70s with (get this) yacht varnish!!! Do you think I should have it refinished professionally I love my Tele and will never sell it But the finish is crap Love your channel Comment from : @1grobbo |
I have one the early MIM Deluxe Nashville Telecasters with the strat pick up in the middle I bought for the versatility and the guy bought and didn't like it so he sold it to me on ebay for 350 and it was like brand new i learned real fast that it was popping D strings Not uncommon with MIM guitars I took to my friend Bill Crook of ?Crook Custom guitars and had the proper files for the saddles He set it up for me and corrected the issue so he could take it apart and see what was inside it I was fine with that lol They are selling for 800 and up now Doesn't cover the humbucker zone though but it sounds great and doesn't toss a bunch of hum either It's remarkably quiet for single coils they have certainly done some shielding work on them and I can use it for a cutting board in a pinch lol Comment from : @monmixer |
First solid body ever Most simple design and most important for rock because of the feedback control for rock and obviously those are the number one guitar for true country players The strat is obviously the most desired blues players instrument Comment from : @monmixer |
Just got a Bullet Tele, happy with it Comment from : @alexvieira7945 |

If you notice that Luther Perkins had his revamped with the Strat style bridge with brass individual saddles for each string! I wonder why Fender never made him a signature guitar! Refresh my memory did they make signature guitars in the 50's? Comment from : @phillipholt6005 |
Nice to have the truss rod adjustment slot on the headstock Comment from : @dodjiegarcia2320 |
Is the player series comparable to the fsr? I’m getting back into the guitar after a decade of not playing and I’m really wanting to get a Tele but the different series are making me unsure what it is I’m needing I hope to play a lot of rock music from Led Zeppelin and The Doors to Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam if that helps narrow it down I also don’t want to break the bank so that’s why i was looking into the Player or HH series Thanks for the great video! Comment from : @11bangbang402 |

2017 American Pro Telecaster here It's my first higher-end guitar I bought brand new I love the guitar a lot When I play it I have a PRS tube amp and an assortment of boost and drive and distortion pedals and I am super surprised at the sounds I get out of it I'll hit a chord and in my head, I'm like that's that sound! (something a band played that I've always wondered how they got their guitar to sound that way) It's super inspiring Comment from : @Robster-Craw |
That tele sounds great i bought a squire bullet tele and i hate it lol I should have saved my money and bought a real one Comment from : @belzedar997 |
I have this one Stock ceramic pickups were not great, not very dynamic and not very Tele-like I put 51 Nocaster CS pickups in it, swapped the control plate back to normal, put Gotoh compensated saddles on it and swapped the tuners to the classic gear tuners brbrThe Nocasters absolutely transformed it I don’t think the ash makes an ounce of difference to the tone but it weighs about 7 lbs so it’s lighter, which is nice The pick guard mounted neck pickup and the truss rod adjuster on the headstock isn’t vintage style but both are more convenient for adjusting brbrThinking of a bone nut Despite all the talk of it feeling like a US made one it’s not really the same The neck is gloss on the back and the edges aren’t nice and rolled like a US Pro guitar would be But, it’s a nice enough neck brbrThe colour on the body is not really great, too orange Would have preferred a more blonde look like the originals But, it’s not an expensive guitar brbrWill I keep it? Probably My kids will end up with it If I find a custom shop guitar that I like I’d prefer that Not a fan of the polyester body, especially Comment from : @jimmythefish |
Yeeee Haaaaw! "Hot piece of ash", I see what you did there! Devin Townsend is a fan of the Tele, tunes open C, low tuning definitely holds Good video and playing Keep 'em coming! Comment from : @jimsup5086 |
