An interesting comparison I have a Squire thin line Tele but I have been thinking about a Sire T7 or maybe a T3 even I can add locking tuners to a T3 for a lot less than the $250 price difference The problem with Sires for me is I have only ever seen one in a guitar shop It was the H7 and I was really impressed with the neck and the overall fit and finish but I would still rather put my hands on a guitar before I buy it With that in mind, I could probably pretty easily get my hands on the Fender and the Squire in a shop so I would probably end up with one of those, although I would rather have the locking tuners from the Sire I don’t see any he others in stores Comment from : @davva360 |

I dunno how many times I've watched this awesome vid I'm dying to add a Tele to my collection I'm really into the G&L tribute asat classic and special I like the pickups and the history of the brand Not 100 percent convinced about the 'non traditional tonewoods' mainly because I find it hard to accept cheaper woods in a guitar at this price Also, for some reason G&L are quite expensive in Europe as far as I've seen I can get a Sire t7 or a mint second hand fender player tele for 100 eur less than the G&L Only thing that doesn't convince me about the fender is the non traditional bridge Unfortunately I have to buy online and cannot try the guitars Any guidance welcome My current fav guitar is a fender player strat So I'm not really interested in a strat-like Tele if you know what I mean Comment from : @powellchristopher |

That Shite Swtich cap/tip you can shove some Poster sticky tack putty in it with a toothpick until it's packed deep in the cap and press it gently onto the switch under it can't be pressed down any further and that cap won't come off, and if you need to pull it off to remove and swap out the switch to fix or mod you can still do so with ease I hope that helps anyone out that that also has the issue Comment from : @TeeFetch |

Btw my 2019 Fender Vintera 60s modified Tele in Lake Placid Blue arrived and it's an absolute game changer for me but you and other real Tele guys are prob familiar with the Baja Teles that had the same circuitry 4 way switching for series/parallel and the s1 switch to go out of phaseWeight's not too bad at 8lb 2 oz Have you played one of these mate ?If so what did you think ? The Tokai looks almost exactly like how I've modified my telecaster, so I have a bias towards the looks of that one Doesn't sound very tele like, but I agree it has a very nice sound of its own The Squier looks so good and sounds so good, at least coming through my speakers was my favorite tone Would definitely be my first choice Beautiful brightness without being too shrill I wasn't crazy about any of the others tones including the real Fender The Sire and G&L just look too different for me, but I think I am listening with my eyes Great video and very nice tele collection coming together! I love the Squier in that color and I believe that the pickups were a bit less impressive because they are wound to more closely match the sound of an early 1960’s Telecaster and the others in the bunch weren’t trying to replicate the sound of that era and thus had more leeway in which pickups they wanted to use As for me, I’m all in on picking up one of those CV FSR models in that same olive color Love the double binding on that rig Comment from : @coreycallahan7443 |

Have you had the chance to try the squier telecaster 40th anniversary?
