I've found the Mexican Tele not to have that twang I'm looking forbrThe Fenders didn't until I got up into the American Series and it was good plus the action is to die for Totally easy to playbrFor a fourth of the cost the G&L captures the expensive Fender sound which makes sense because Leo Fender built the G&L companybrGreat informative video!

I bought a Chinese t- style guitar at my local pawn shop for $16900(can) and was blown away by how solid of an instrument it was The pick ups were the exact same as fender American standard! I still use it My only gripe is that it has a rosewood fingerboard and I prefer maple

I have an EART Tele style guitar Roasted maple neck/fretboard, stainless steele frets, warm pickups, tuning, intonation awesome, body contours, light to medium weight, sounds great through a Boss Katana $350 delivered I would put it up against any of these listed here

Lol Fender and Gibson literally have delusions of grandeur $900 for a low end Tele? Fudge offbrI just picked up an Orange/Caramel colourd Chinese copy called Aiersi It's laughable how well iot stays in tune and how good the action is for the $125 I paid for it I have high end Ibanez and other much more expensive guitars, but I love how cheap doesn't have to mean 'garbage' I would never buy a real Strat or real Tele as that's not my focus but an amazing cheapie? All day longbrEDIT: took a scotch pad to the fret ends and polished them up/clean fretboard Replaced string trees with some roller ones I had Hardware is korean and actually quite good I think the nut is something other than cheap plastic, but I'm no expert on nuts of any kind Bridge single-coil sounds really good with gain and bridge is nice and glassy Only one high fret at 22 but I'll deal with that Amazing action and sounds great/holds tune with not a mark on it Binding is very nice and zero defects other than a couple of what look like stain drops in the cutout below the finish Who cares

I'm left handed, bought a squire affinity telecaster, pickups are not bad in fact neck pickup is great, but frets are all over the place with fret buzz on every fret no matter how well you fret them

Waaaay back in 1982, a mate of mine who was the shop luthier in a Vancouver music store rang ne up and said, mate get down here now and check out these new guitars that just came in… They was a shipment of Tokai that arrived and my mate had been checking them over and was in the phone to everyone about them I need up buying three BreezySounds $249 each w/hard case, whilst my mate bought four SpringySounds… The other sales staff were buying them at retail, it was nuts, they were sold out in a few days, 30 guitars, I think, including the infamous Love Rock Les Paul… along story short, I have one Tele left, the best of the three, and it’s even my main gig guitar all these years, absolutely superb beast, everyone loves it… Leaves American Télés for dead

I have a Harley Benton T-70E that is now one of my favorite guitars It's a solid, beautiful instrument, with that classic Tele tone Guitar Max's video convinced me to give it a try, I thought I'd probably end up returning it, expecting crap, and was dumbfounded my the quality when it arrived For under $299 USD I don't understand how they sell such quality at such a low price point Or is really, the guitar industry has been screwing us blind all these years?

The original Chinese made Classic Vibes were lighter, and better quality IMO, than the more recently "Made in Indonesia" ones Also, a lot more affordable
