This is such a bad advise Survivorship bias is so overlooked There’s nothing wrong sticking with safety For every dream that comes true, there’s thousands that never make it and it ruins their life Some that make it after years of passing away And some that are unhappy after achieving said dream You can pursue your dreams, and take all the risk you want if that’s what you truly want However, you DONT have to quit everything to pursue them and have a full life A quiet life can also be a life worth living

My dream was to have certain experiences and I did When I was 18 years-old I joined the US army, did a deployment, got out, went to college, graduated college, got a job, and have been successful in whatever I wanted to do I'm just enjoying life now the best I can because I'm not sure if I want to have many more experiences other than just enjoying what I've earned

When you’re in a financial hole, you can’t just quit your job unless you want to be homeless I’m an artist and have paid my bills as a graphic designer since 1999 I got married to a woman who did t want to work even when we only had $20 for groceries a week and we had a son early on I racked up a lot of debt Now I’m 58 and poor because of credit cards and I don’t see any way out!!!!’n
