Why are US constitutional silver so "clean"? The old silver coins I get here in Sweden are always sticky and greasy Do sellers in the US clean the coins? Also, here many coins are green from PVC storage, I seldom see this in US coins

LCS are the best You can go through each coin individually and see what you like I cannot speak for all shops, but mine is awesome I am always polite and pay with cash There have been times I have been $3-4 short, and they always round down You will never get that online Premiums are also a LOT lower

Obviously "junk" silver is limited It hasn't been made in many years Supply is low but demand is high We might think 19 or 20 times face is expensive Just wait IMO, I would say 3 or 4 years from now, we'll be paying 25 to 30 times!

I know this is a late response I listen everyday but missed this one but you should check that barber half dollar you showed in video the edges looked to be sharp to be real have it checked there's alot of counterfeit out there if the edges are still sharp it is Chinese knock offs

Good info on buying constitutional silver When I was young my great grandma gave me 20 Morgan's That started it for me and I've been collecting it ever since Lots of metal detecting and pulling silver coins out of circulation over the years, but its much harder to find it now even coin roll hunting I'll buy some here and there depending on what my lcs has in stock I am on a barber kick lately

I will only collect constitutional silver on one condition It has to have interesting history on it I do love the Franklin half dollars because they have Ben Franklin and the Liberty Bell on them Also they have Independence Hall on the bicentennial one I don't like the Peace Silver Dollar, I think it's an ugly design Morgans and Seated Liberty's are more eye appealing

The keys of collecting The silver has to be 1 oz, not 2 oz not 1/2 oz, not 5 oz, not 10 oz, not 1 kilo Either too small or too big 1 oz is the perfect size for a silver bullion coin It has to say the face value, has to be government issued, has to say " 1 oz pure silver 9999 or 999 or 99999 " on the coin itself

Constitutional silver is nice to collect, but to stack it come on It's more expensive, it's old, tarnished and worn out It's also very expensive for the amount of silver you are getting It's better to just buy 1 oz bullion coins Forget buying 1 oz bullion rounds, you get nothing, but 1 oz bullion coins If you buy silver only buy government issued silver bullion
