Just as an experienced coin adultery personand always for my own collection 'Bar Keepers Friend' stainless steel cleaner, works great one drop on either side of the coin, rub with ur fingers for a second and rinsemagic Note i have examined under a 15x loop and NADA is made with 600 mesh silica perhaps u can pick it up at 30x do not know for my collection thats perfect no swirls etc etc Comment from : @robertalan2427 |

That large dipped copper coin has those small dark areas because your gloved fingers blocked the chemicals from raching there Better to use two hands and hold at the rim, and move the coin around along the rim to make sure the chemical get over the entire coin 🙂 Comment from : @josephtousignant7318 |

Tarnish on silver coins is not corrosion It can be removed without the use of acid dips or abrasive wheels such as described by the coin guy I don't know why anyone would resort to that on silver I don't agree that removing tarnish which can easily be done non-destructively should be detrimental to the value of silver coins Comment from : @Aberdeenroadie |
