Almost all Morgan dollars are cleaned today Only exception are far dollars bought direct from the mint in the early 70s

I wished I watched this video a week ago I was at a small coin show and bought an 1881 Morgan My radar wasn't really looking out for cleaned coins, so when I found it I thought it was great But looking at it now it is clearly whizzed It was also only 40$, so it's far from the end of the world This was a good learning lesson for me, and I still like the coin regardless Thank you for this video!

Really good description that ive never seen anyone use before If you have any other tips on this it would be awesome! I’ve always typically looked for micro hair lines going in the same direction But the secondary luster pivotal points is really good Would be interesting to see how it works with other coins like quarters and half’s You have a new subscriber 👍🏼

what if you clean them with a non abrasive like flitz and just use a q tip? ive cleaned a couple and they still have that nice cartwheel affect and looks mint i am def against the abrasive cleaning or acid dip
