There's only one place in my town that has junk silver, and it's a good thing they are so reasonable with their premiums I can't find a better deal if I drove for 2 hours each way, and these guys are right down the street! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, online premiums and shipping costs were too much to justify stacking regularly

The premiums on junk silver are absolutely trash JM bullion is charging $15 over spot per ounce They are absolutely Price gouging I understand a premium on fractional silver because of the work and labor associated with minting smaller pieces But that does not apply to already existing circulated constitutional silver They are just arbitrarily Inflating the cost of the premium I can’t believe people are willing to pay that much

I’m new at collecting coins and war tokens and I mostly purchase Benjamin Franklin and Walking Liberty 90 silver coins I’m still learning but if I’m correct those two coins I just mentioned has the actual coin value depending on the year and shape/grade and it has the actual silver value So it mostly has two values you can fall back on

Reason for high premiums is simple: that’s what the dealers can get for it Only question is WHY they can get so much And that is also simple: more and more demand from people waking up to the reality that their fiat dollars are becoming increasingly worthless by the week It’s not just “silver people” coming to that realization For years I have preached the virtues of real money to my friends and co-workers and basically up until recently it was a fruitless endeavor; most didn’t want to hear it Lately however, with rampant inflation, people are asking me questions about it The questions they have are all ones most silver stackers have asked themselves at one point or another, so I don’t expect premiums to go down anytime soon vs the illicit, illegal, illegitimate Comex price for paper contracts At some point there will be an even more complete disconnect between physical silver and that bogus spot number Would not surprise me if we saw the former double or triple the latter

Premiums on constitutional silver is completely un-necessary and just a racket for dealers to make extra $$$, there is no manufacturing cost or anything of that nature when it comes to these coins, that cost was absorbed by the US government and taxpayers decades ago I call BS when it comes to exorbitated mark ups these old coins, there is no numismatic value to these other than the silver value content which is what a dealer would offer you for your silver if you brought it in
