For me it's Nissan I've got a 2019 frontier SV 4 x 4 and it's been very reliable The reason I got it is because my neighbor has the same model except it's 2014 with 360k miles and his still runs like a champ and all he did was basic maintenance and water pump so far Comment from : @bribri1657 |

I'm most interested in his comment that late 90s / early 2000s models were more reliable Why? What specifically has changed? If you're buying an Accord or Camry, which generations since 2005 are most reliable long term? Comment from : @echt114 |

Toyota Camry it's the best car in Kazakhstan! Because the available spare parts, proven reliability over the years, are not capricious, the electronics work without problems and most importantly, it does not depreciate over the years! Comment from : @АлмазСулейменов-т2г |

I’m a big fan of both Honda and Toyota, but I’ve never personally owned a Toyota I currently have a 2011 Civic, which is my fifth Civic Recently, I got to drive a brand-new Toyota Corolla, which is my office car, when the driver wasn’t available Honestly, it didn’t have the same "kick" that the Civic offers The Civic handles much better and is way more enjoyable to drive I feel like Toyota excels at making SUVs, trucks, and hybrids, while Honda is truly built for those who love to drive Comment from : @shakeelsattar3190 |

I had a Toyota Camry LE 4 cylinder and was impressed with just about everything It didn't have as much get-up-and-go as the V6 I test drove (of course), but preferred improved gas mileage When I rode in my friend's Honda Accord, I noticed the ride was rougher and the seats weren't as comfortable as my Camry I also drove a friend's newer Honda Accord Sport version and was NOT impressed with the power or ride (it did have low profile tires) It was smooth to accelerate, but lacked pick up (quick acceleration) Comment from : @Kelly-n2z7q |

I have 2 Hondas, a 2010 accord and a 2018 Pilot Both are excellent and the accord is nearing 300k miles My last vehicle before the accord was a Tundra Also crossed the 200k mile mark with no major issues I’d probably prefer Honda as far as reliability but the Toyota truck line is far more functional Comment from : @benjaminfulmer9860 |

Perhaps the reason H & T drivers are more knowledgeable is because the cars are more pricey With some exceptions, Chevy, Hyundai and Nissan provide cheaper A -> B transportation Knowing about and paying for maintenance protects the bigger investment in a spendy car That's why I drive 2 Acuras, and a beater Ford Comment from : @johnverlautz6025 |

Shadetree - wife's car in failure mode Have been looking at used Toyotas, Hondas and Mazdas, but all either have specific problems, engines, transmissions or other features I don't want to deal with There seems to be no basic cars out there anymore that don't have things i want to avoid ☹️ Comment from : @StuStevens-rn7rb |

There is one errorbrYou didnt consider the total number of toyotas and hondas in Utah and surroundingsbrFor instance, if there is are two or three times more toyotas in Utah than hondas, than of course you will probably see more toyotas than hondas in your workshop 🤔 Comment from : @BinGanzLieb |

Toyota wins easily, but Hondas are great also Comment from : @bashirkoonkaaj7209 |
Honda cars (not SUVs) usually have a stiffer suspension and better handling, Toyota’s cars usually have softer suspension and a more comfortable ride but don’t handle or take corners as good as the Hondas, you really can’t go wrong with either one though there’s a few unreliable models with both Toyota, and Honda but for the most part both their vehicles are pretty bulletproof Comment from : @fireant1784 |

Just listing which comes in for service does not tell us car reliability Many service could be normal maintenance What is more useful data is which brand come in for least repairs That is a sign of reliability Average includes maintenance Comment from : @wmoy8507 |

Out of the two I would go Toyota All modern cars are a bit less reliable but Honda are riding on their old repuation more than Toyota are I have a 2013 Honda Civic and my sister has a 2008 Honda Jazz (Fit) We've both had them for about 3 years and 40-50k miles Both of our cars have been dogs I've had A/C issues (including condenser which was expensive part), EGR flexpipe split needing replacing at over £600 Trim pieces falling off including a wheel arch liner on the motorway nearly hitting somebody behind me I could only get this replaced at Honda who charge a bomb for parts SRS/Airbag reoccuring faults Wheel speed sensors and ABS sensors Bear in mind my car has immaculate service history My sister has almost had all the suspension replaced on her Jazz (Fit), clutch at 45k miles, rust, window regulator motors, electric side mirrors failing, sticking brake calliper Looking around it seems we have a couple of lemons compared to most peoples' experiences but still something to bear in mind it's not all sunshine and rainbows and any car can have issues even if looked after My 2004 E46 BMW was far cheaper to run and the only repairs that car ever needed was some corroded brake pipes and a wiring loom (and I did more miles in it too) My sister and I are in the minority and I'm happy that most have had great experiences with their Hondas but I won't be purchasing another and I don't think she will either 😜 Maybe my next car I will give Toyota a shot! |
I reckon Mitsubishi is quietly super reliable My Lancer is at 216k kms, I have neglected it a bit in terms of late oil changes but I've never had any issues with it starting every single time Comments from others online also say Mitsubishi is super reliable Their cars are cheaper than Honda and Toyota but that means they're simpler and easier to work on too Comment from : @Spacemonkeymojo |
The difference is very small After lots of miles driving Honda and Toyota I would say Honda engines deliver a little bit more fun but the reliability overall is same level Comment from : @rubinreiter6351 |
That's that's unbelievable 605 or 600 for repair $500 for a repair or $600 for a repair that could be hard to believe it should be more like a thousand or 1500 or 2000 Comment from : @dougjstl1 |
