There are three more generators of similar nature:Yamaha, Champion, and Wen The form factor is becoming popular, I think Also, I used a Predator 2000 heavily for a coouple of years and the regular oil changes and exhaust cleaning emphasized by the manufacturer are important The machine will eventually become hard to start and run rough without them This is a reference to the high iron accumulation in the chart

About 11 years ago I was working for a construction company and accidentally knocked the 2000 Honda generator off the tailgate It smacked gravel cracking the carrying handle breaking part of it brbrThe guys were like if it still starts you aren't in any trouble (I was new and pooping bricks) Guy was still able to fire it up like always!brbrI wouldn't advise testing it but if they are still made the samethey can handle job site "stress"😂

EU3000is, used in an off grid battery charging application so running at 80 to 90 load at least 10 hours per week It always sits outside in the sun and the rain It's 13 years old and still runs like a champ No other generator will even come close to touching that

I have a predator 8750 that was given to me after it quite It did not have a lot of run time and required a carb rebuild and a valve job to get it running Furman makes a variety of products and would like to see stats on those vs the competition

The difference is the Honda you only have to buy once in 10-20 years, and it won't need repairs every few years I bought a Predator and it lasted 80 hours before it died and wouldn't start despite a clean carb and good battery Maybe a coil? Who knows, I haven't bothered working on it because it's not worth the time

Please test the WEN portable units They are getting lots of media time, but are they any good Also the Westinghouse 2 cylinder model It's a beast at 28,000 watts on gasoline, but it could be a candidate for whole house service vs something larger like a permanent Kohler 28kw Thanks Marty
