Bro im not trying to knock your work Everyone works in different ways and thats cool but This video is supposed to be a instructional video on how to install a alarm And you're not showing the views how you know what wire harness is what ? The only way you would know that is what a data sheet Thats the most important part of the whole installation Without that information you cant do anything

My 2007 Ridgeline was declared dead by Honda due to a recall issue The guy I had bought it from had a remote starter put in which I am in process of removing because the truck is going to be crushed I have it lowered from the dash right now but unsure about the disconnecting? It is a maybe Viper or a Autostart with two little red modules on top of it called upgradable Xpresskit on them, one is XK01 and the other is XK05

Can i get a little assistance? I got everything wired up after a rigorous wire diagram search for the V5900( old installed system), the 5806V (new system)and my 1996 Acura Integra I believe the unit is powered on indicated by the red light on the shock sensor blinking, but the Antenna/Control is not responding I get no chirp when the ignition is turned to On position and the button is pushed once, let go and held in order to sync the remotes The system does not seem to be responding to the Antenna What might be the cause of this issue? Everything is wired up as it should be as a majority of the wires are not utilized for my vehicle Any assistance would be greatly appreciated Please let me know

He made all the connections properly‼️ He didn’t solder the connections because these are are data wires, and too much or not enough solder can cause the data transfer to not function correctly, also as the solder oxidizes it can cause performance issues on these wires Canbus and data wires aren’t your old school wiring, these new computer controlled vehicles are vastly different

I bought a pigtail for the factory wiring, it plugs between the wiring harness that goes up the steering column, no having to cut in or splice any of the wires there, I stopped my install because getting at it was too much trouble, I can't reach it all beside the van in my wheelchair not can I get at it from the drivers seat, damn shops want to sell me 'their' remote unit full price install when all the hard shit is done, the wires are hanging down waiting to be plugged in
