I'm over 40 People keep telling me that I'll get better And keep saying of others that fully recovered their balance My stroke was in my cerebellum which controls your balance and other things Had over a month stay and suffered from brain swelling and loss of consciousness according to family Unfortunately worked construction and need my balance 100 and it's at 70 at best and less if I don't use the techniques used from physical therapy There is also certain motions that I need to be aware of like looking up, twisting around and certain things It's been 10 month and my balance went from Wheelchair to 70 and recovered my short-term memory loss after 2 months of physical and speech therapy My balance isn't and will not get better as your brain can't heal and that is the part that was damaged from the stroke It's very scary to try to find a new career for financial support If I want to see the glass half full, it could have been much worse and my weight and diabetes is the best they've been in over 20 years For people that don't have damage to their cerebellum, don't give up and keep trying Your balance is worth it
