If you are going to put in the same amount of hours and energy into work and still be treated like any employee would, br$250k is more sufficient than $30k a year,br time is your valuable asset, and multiplying your hourly rate is well worth it

My daughter, a Cornell Law School graduate, was exactly in your situation She ended up quitting corporate law for similar reasons and becoming a law recruiter She works mostly from home, doing about 35 hours a week with a really flexible schedule that allows her to travel about 4-6 weeks a year Erica, I know you'll be ok with your decision There is life beyond Big Law

Hi Erika!! Amazing you finally found that courage! As a coach I am telling you that when you know your why , and you are ready to pursue it -you will make it work! brI always felt like I was broken -because I never tried to fit in , I never chased money , status I could not care less what people thought of me since I have been a teenager And people always judged me :) and still do now! I was standing up to every single boss , teacher or whoever was trying to break my boundaries because my fear has always been “to let myself down” Hence why, never ever I have ever sacrificed my true self But living like that is never easy -you gotta have courage to be disliked 🎉

When I was 22 my boss did the EXACT same thing to me I missed saying goodbye to my grandmother when she was in the hospital I didn't have the words or courage to say no to my bosses demands on my time I thought I would have another chance to see my grandmother I feel so much regret But I was very young and can look back now and see that my boss knew he was taking advantage of my inexperience and dedication I have forgiven myself and I hope you have too BTW, I love your videos They have been so helpful
