Sd bullion which is a very reputable dealer, doesn't buy back gold for spot unless it's current year (for coins) You pay at least $20 to $50 below spot So if you're going to a coin dealer and he's giving you spot, good job 👍

The people I know who buy gold and silver are all prepper types They all seem to think that they’ll be able to trade their gold for cash during some disaster scenario I’m very skeptical about that idea Seems to me that those kind of items are not going to be as valuable as basic commodities and people are likely to be highly skeptical of gold or jewelry during such events brbrThey may play a role after such an event once turmoil settles down and an economic system returns but not during the event itself

My experience cashing in my kilo of silver and few gold bars few years ago when I needed a transmission rebuild on my truck I walked out with spot price cash which Im okay with I'm not gonna expect to get all my money back, but atleast what ever spot price is that day or yesterdays my local coin shop usually gives me whatever the highest spot price was recently plus premium cash deal he always gives me the best for the money when I sell to him

Inflation plan for $50 mill: 25lbs of gold (1m) because during peak inflation in Germany, that could buy a city block in Berlin (good for starting over) multiple houses with mortgages each with a closet full of sealed bars of soap and 1000 silver dimes for smaller transactions (if it goes to crap, what do you need more; gold or soap?) The rest in a blend of SP500 and Nasdaq100 for growth and a portfolio of dividends to yield 5 with frequent payouts and to lower risk of declining value and/or dividend suspensions

In my experience in general is what you're going to find if you're lucky they will pay a little bit over spot for certain items but mostly they will give you a base metal price and probably be 90 of spot if you're lucky 93 selling peer-to-peer honestly is no better because most of the time people know what the prices should be so you're not going to get any better deal or get paid anymore by a personal sale either Currently spot prices high for silver and gold but shops are not paying strong because of the flood of people cashing in

It’s really easy to sell back to them Just for the fun of it, I sold a gold bar to my dealer and they gave me cash straight away Although i lost around $100 from that sale when gold price climb in a short time of just 2 months! 😅😂
