3:30 I'm an auto tech and own my shop I wish people would approach me with silver or gold for auto repair more often! I have gotten a few 1oz rounds for tips from customers who are in the know and I got a NWT mint 10oz bar once to discount a bill $220 when silver was $22 an oz Good times for both parties! 😊

Why do coin shops buy from the public? Two very good reasons, one self preservation, if they didn’t, the public wouldn’t buy from them, LCS’s are one of the main places people sell their bullion The other reason is related to the first reason, most of these LCS’s pay spot or less for the publics bullion, and turn around and sell it for more 10 minutes later However over the last few years, Ive smartened up, and have “poached” some of their local customers, we exchange nimbers and when they want to sell, we meet up and I offer them a little more than what the LCS offers them Theyre happy and so am I because I’m not paying that premium reserved for the last guy at the party😉
