I hope it's okay to ask for some advice I'm using an LVLP sprayer for painting cabinets I've built myself However, I've encountered a problem Once the paint dries, there are visible lines from the spray Could you please help me understand what I might be doing wrong? Is my paint too thick? is my gun not working properly?

Thanks for the video I was thinking about getting the lvlp atom x20 I have a 20 gallon ingersoll rand garagemate compressor that says it has 55 cfm at 90 psi Do you think my compressor would work with that gun? I’m just a DIYer Or would the x16 be a better choice?

Hey tony, thanks for that great video Im a guitar painter, I paint for my friend who builds guitars and basses Im a professional house painter by trade (normally using airless, but I do use some hvlp on high end lacquered trim or door jobs) Im wanting a system I can use in our tight shop space, I know I can fit a 5-10 gallon compressor I'm wondering if the LVLP can spray metallic, flake or pearl finishes? I have a few jobs coming up that id like to do some flakes or pearls on would this be possible with the lvlp? if so what tip sizes would you reccomend?

If a gun says avg air consumption 115 - 135 cfm @19 psi, how do I translate that to knowing what size compressor I need to purchase? Most every compressor I've looked at has a cfm rating at 90 psi Thanks in advance

I just saw a few different pros say that you should have different guns - one for primer and the other for paint/clear coat (ideally separating these 2 as well) because it can ruin your paint job with bits that were left in and dried out I felt like asking you because it sounds a bit like BS Wouldn't those dry bits ruin your coat either way - even if you're still using the same type of fluid?brbrThat is no matter what you spray the gun should be cleaned spotless for the next job, otherwise you gonna wreck it?

Hi, Tony Atom X27 Pro is rated at 8-10 CFM air flow as per specs Contrary to what you said that LPLV flow rate is at 4-5 CFM, the Atom X27 Pro is to my mind more of a HPLV Can you enlighten us on this? Thank you

I've been undecided I'm seeking to paint with- paint & primer in one, so it's thick may thin it just a little should I go with the feel of a lvlp system or a convention sprayer with pressure pot I suppose a 20 spray tip size it must last a long paint season, & I wanted least over spray with slow control but not painfully slow like most electric hvlps lots of home address numbers to paint

The specs on this gun say it needs 8 - 10 CFM and 28PSI What kind of air compressor will run a gun like this for automotive painting? Could I get away with a 30Gal 2HP 73 CFM @ 40PSI? Compressor manufacturers typically don't publish CFM ratings at that low of a PSI And I'm guessing the algorithm isn't linear to determine the CFM @ a given PSI
