Rich here, Is it impossible to paint a 52 chevy deluxe with a 20 Gal, 2 hp compressor and LVLP? I'm a DIY guy with no other choice as it's all I have This being the case; would be safer to shoot Single stage as opposed to Base/clear coat? Thanks Rich Comment from : @barbarabailon595 |

But can I use both rattle can 1k primer with an acrylic spray gun mixable paint, bull dog rattle can adhesion promoter, spray max rattle can 2k clear coat, some type of antistatic cleaner, I have the bond grease and wax remover, and some type of primer sealerbrbrI have a whole bunch of rattle cans I have been suckered into buying and the colors don't match, the pearl sucks, and both retailers paints had 1 can with dry spray issuesbrbr I just saw a guy's alternative idea to spraying with preval using a small hot dog compressor and a lower capacity gun so I was checking for verification of this idea to be able to have a chance to match the color and quality needed to get this rental done and saw this video nextbrbrI am stuck with my pants down having prep sanded the bumper cover on this May 2019 manufactured Toyota corolla with the generic 3R3 Barcelona Red color code after being possessed by whatever after going down from Pooler GA O'Reillys to the recommended guy in Jessup GA O'Reillys paint mixing rattle can filling place the James said he could match up the color and pearl and put it in rattle cansbrbr The first is the color is off The second is, the hid the second and the third place spray dry including c&d's rattle can 1k primerbrbrPlease reply asapbrThanksbrCurrently in Baltimore MD and talking to finish masters Maryland is big on water colors and not solvent paints making it harder to get fit color matching possibility Comment from : @edwardthor7763 |

Hey tony, thanks for that great video Im a guitar painter, I paint for my friend who builds guitars and basses Im a professional house painter by trade (normally using airless, but I do use some hvlp on high end lacquered trim or door jobs) Im wanting a system I can use in our tight shop space, I know I can fit a 5-10 gallon compressor I'm wondering if the LVLP can spray metallic, flake or pearl finishes? I have a few jobs coming up that id like to do some flakes or pearls on would this be possible with the lvlp? if so what tip sizes would you reccomend? Comment from : @jeremytelman6897 |

Hello please what would be the best hose size and fitting for an LVLP spray gun 3/8 or 1/4 fitting I have a 26 gal kobalt quiet tech air compressor Comment from : @bena9221 |
I just saw a few different pros say that you should have different guns - one for primer and the other for paint/clear coat (ideally separating these 2 as well) because it can ruin your paint job with bits that were left in and dried out I felt like asking you because it sounds a bit like BS Wouldn't those dry bits ruin your coat either way - even if you're still using the same type of fluid?brbrThat is no matter what you spray the gun should be cleaned spotless for the next job, otherwise you gonna wreck it? Comment from : @cubul32 |
You say it sprays lacquers Can you spray water based sealer and varnish with it (for wood projects)? Comment from : @cubul32 |

Hi, Tony Atom X27 Pro is rated at 8-10 CFM air flow as per specs Contrary to what you said that LPLV flow rate is at 4-5 CFM, the Atom X27 Pro is to my mind more of a HPLV Can you enlighten us on this? Thank you Comment from : @amdomag |

Hi Tony, great video I thought LVLP was supposed to provide less overspray as compared to HVLP, but your poster board indicates LVLP as more overspraycan you elaborate on that point please? Comment from : @jdpower5552 |
I've been undecided I'm seeking to paint with- paint & primer in one, so it's thick may thin it just a little should I go with the feel of a lvlp system or a convention sprayer with pressure pot I suppose a 20 spray tip size it must last a long paint season, & I wanted least over spray with slow control but not painfully slow like most electric hvlps lots of home address numbers to paint Comment from : @aaronfuksa2047 |
Love your videosbrDo you know how i can get candy products shipped to new zealand at a good pricebrI just priced for respray local and came to $3500brRegards Cameron Comment from : @noremaccystoms2195 |

What psi for lvlp Comment from : @meanpaintandbody |
The specs on this gun say it needs 8 - 10 CFM and 28PSI What kind of air compressor will run a gun like this for automotive painting? Could I get away with a 30Gal 2HP 73 CFM @ 40PSI? Compressor manufacturers typically don't publish CFM ratings at that low of a PSI And I'm guessing the algorithm isn't linear to determine the CFM @ a given PSI Comment from : @mad7stringer |
Again very nice and informative video now it’s clear in my head regarding HVLP and LVLP at the end of the day the main issue is what size of compressor you are using Can you shoot metallic paint using LVLP? Thanks Tony and mabuhay ka boss!! 🇵🇭 Comment from : @iceonwheels8048 |
