High pressure low volume guns what we used in the old days at home spraying lacquer based paints Usually these have the paint tank under the gun not above it these required 7-12 CFM

I've used lots of guns From Profesional to harbour fraight $20 guns Really the biggest issue is cleaning them Make sure it's clean inside Better guns are easier to clean and made better obviously Good video explaining everything Cheap guns can be a pain to clean if you don't have a gun cleaner lol

My set up is a mini HpLv with duel in lines filters And a harbor freight ulta quiet compressor, it has no problem keeping up air And they are not expensive I can't believe I'm promoting them lol I'm a hater🤣 but everything works well I paid $35 for the gun a decades ago About 200 for the compressor I like this guy's info And I'm going to check out this lphv gun

Note to everyone, this gun and the inoteck D 1 Drizzle are the exact same Anything you need such as every size needle nozzle and cap set, replacement parts, seal's etc are only available through aeropro for A610/R500 but work on both

You talked me into the Aeropro R500 Thanks I tried the el'cheapo Harbor Freight $15 gun and had to stop after my first coat I just couldn't adjust my mixture to get a decent finish br So I'll do my next coat with the R500, after I do a little sanding

"Pete's Hobbies" performed some side by side testing of various gun's CFM usages The R500 came out at near 8 CFM, and not the 37 claimed CFM I'm still going to get one because videos like yours provide so much information on the R500 (and I haven't sprayed a car since 1990) Wanted to provide this FYI incase gun is acting up while using a 55 CFM compressor

Italco mini shine 12mm lvmp/ hvlp, around $55-60 here Its a mini gun, but the hvlp version spray around 22-24cm fan almost like a full size gun The lvmp model spray smaller fan but still usable and consume less air I only have the hvlp version, but some user say they only use 1hp airless compressor with the 1mm nozzle and it works wellbrbrItalco is a premium brand of auarita I got several gun with this brand, most auarita model only suitable as a hobby level gun Its more durable than many chinese brand gun

I am taking automotive painting and color matching at my local university campus up the street I don't have a ton of money to spend on equipment, and I have a completely different purpose for taking the classes I restore Ovation guitars, and I want to be able to paint the bowls (composite fiberglass bodies) and tops The paint job and explanation were great, with one caveat I didn't hear you specify what CFM would be required of the compressor Obviously, what I will be painting isn't even a tenth of the square inches of that bumper cover, so I am wondering what I need I have been looking at 20-30 gallon tanks with a 5hp motor on the compressor They typically put out between 8-10 CFM @ 40psi By your description, I am guessing that would be adequate Thanks for the video, explanation, and recommendation on the gun!
