My girlfriend broke up with me a week ago, I lied about my drinking and eventually she couldn’t handle it when she caught me drinking after her surgery I was told she still cares about me but I need help and I need to do better I am committing to working on falling in love with my life again, but I’m unsure when to reach out She was quite betrayed by my actions

Once they break trust never give them a second chance I did that with my wife mind you it was 25 years ago I caught her cheating and I gave her a second chance here we are 25 years later I just paid off my house and she walked out the door for another guy and is going after half my home never should’ve given her that second chance And now it makes me wonder how many times she cheated throughout her 25 year marriage that I was unaware of

Will I be able to trust him again and feel safe around him?brPlaying the mother has drained me to the point that I feel no empathy for him, and the thought of being intimate makes me uneasy brbrI also started fantasising about my boss at work I know he is single and attracted to me He’s very calm under pressure and resolves any conflict smoothly I know I wouldn’t be with him because of so many different conflicts of interest, but the fact that I am fanstasing about him woke me up and showed me how terrible my relationship is

Unfortunately my wife could never forgive, she always kept score, she was unwilling to let go of the past wrongs and I tried to rebuild trust with her and she rail roaded every attempt to the point that it was a no brainer to end the marriage I feel way better off without her as my wife, we still have to co-parent but I have let go but she can't let go which is painful

I’m done trying I tried it all I learned a lot and I’m a better man, father and person with everything I’ve learned with all the videos I couldn’t afford the program but I learned a lot with the videos and I will forever be grateful and continue to better myself I will be seeing a lawyer and continue with the divorce I wish it wasn’t like this but I gave it my all I can say I gave it my all 2 years trying and I’ve come to terms with reality

No, this is false hope Once she leaves you, it is done If she comes back, you are second choice at best and simply a necesssity for stability Do not try to recall a departed woman, heal and focus on yourself If necessary, find a new one, otherwise forget about supporting a woman and enjoy loving and caring for yourself
