This is exactly how I have my 13" 2010 macbook set up Upgraded ram, new battery, new thermal paste and dual SSDs, one running macOS Monterey and one running windows 10brbrIts not the fastest obviously but it gets the job done, and the build quality is hard to beat Had it going on 15 years now, I'll only replace it when it's completely kaput
